I got a noob question and the answer is probably obvious. It’s my first time doing uncle Ben’s tek and I’ve already thrown 3 of my 5 rice bags because of contam.
1 bag is going really good and is about 90% inoculated, and my other bag is also looking good about 90% done but has a tiny spot of contam on the bottom.
My question is should I immediately get rid of this bag or is it possible to let it sit and see if the mycelium will beat it out if that’s even a possibility?
Mycelium will NEVER beat contam. It may grow over it, but the contam is still very much present.
