In the hospital (nothing major) and the staff brought me flowers. For no reason. Even without the flowers the staff have all been incredible and I appreciate them so much. Shoutout to healthcare professionals and Virtua hospital in Jersey!
omg, only $1200?!? lmao but the tag says “please enjoy these flowers from our wedding” so it was likely gonna get trashed anyway and the staff member who got married just decided to give them to patients instead out of kindness
Luckily I met my deductible already this year and have decent insurance but I’ve seen what they bill my insurance. Last time I went to the hospital was overnight and $30k! And my last surgery was $200k.
Its ridiculous.

Giving and receiving random acts of kindness is the sweetest thing ever.
Someone donated them to you. They were their wedding flowers, it’s on the tag. The staff chooses who gets them, so it looks like they chose someone who is very grateful ❤️ A lot of people are doing this now so they don’t waste their wedding flowers, and I love it.

I do a lot of work with a few Virtua Voorhees offices and all the staff are very nice.
I came here to say the same thing. I will choose Virtua Voorhees over any Philly hospital any day of the week.
I moved to Philly in august and all my docs (I have a lot) are at Jefferson. And I love them all. I’ve been admitted to both Jefferson’s in Philly and the staff was always lovely but def understaffed, crowded, and the waiting room is always so chaotic.
I came to virtua in Marlton cause I have one doc out here and was having issues GI issues so my husband took me here, and after this stay I will never go back to Jefferson. I’ll take the 40 minute drive.
Omg I LOVED Virtua when I went to the one in Vorhees for an appendectomy.
They listened to everything I had to say, took me seriously, and truly cared for my well-being. As a mentally ill woman this is a huge deal since I’m usually dismissed when going to medical doctors. When I lost my shit after the anesthesia wore off the nurse was so kind yet firm in telling me I was safe, and was able to calm me down. I still remember the look in her eye when I woke up and freaked out, how reassuring it was and I knew I was okay.
My boyfriend also went there for his own medical issues and they treated him incredibly in the ER, no judgement or harsh treatment, just kind caring doctors and nurses.
I will always go to that hospital whenever necessary and possible (it’s about 45 minutes from me). Virtua is amazing.
I actually live in Philly but was in marlton for one of my docs appts here and was having issues so my husband went ahead and took me to this one. I went back right away, got a room right away, and it’s been so nice. As nice as the hospital can be, haha.
The speciality doc I saw today spent 30 minutes just listening to me and my entire history while I was venting and crying. Most are too busy to stay for 5 minutes.
I moved from Texas last year and had to go to Jefferson a few times. Waiting room is always chaos, waiting for 8+ hours just to get seen, then waiting once for 2 days before getting a room. I do not blame the staff for this, they are def understaffed and super busy. Since we have the luxury of owning a car I’d much rather make the drive out here.
I’m in Philly too, city hospitals are insanely crowded. Virtua now and forever
Can confirm Virtua network is quite pleasant. Ive worked for them in the past near the Cherry Hill area. Glad you had a good experience with them.
