Hello!

I recently dropped my 2017 MacBook Pro and after the fall, it wouldn’t turn on. I took it to an in-home repair shop & he advised that it would have to be sent away and likely cost approximately $500 to be repaired. He said I could potentially use it for 5+ more years once repaired.

Before I had dropped it, I was unable to update to the newest iOS because there wasn’t enough space on the hard drive, which made it less compatible with newer technology. Not sure if that’ll change once it’s repaired.

My other option would be to not repair the MacBook Pro and purchase a new MacBook Air for $1400 (taxes in).

Any suggestions on which of the two routes I should take?:)
