I'm really loving this watch, but there aren't any ADs near me, and I've never seen one in person. The 17mm case height kind of scares me on its own, and the nato strap only adds to that fear. Wondering if any owners can share their thoughts on how it wears, or post some wrist shots? Is it an unwieldy beast, or not as bad as I'm thinking?

It seems to be a trend nowadays the so called "quiet Luxury" or"stealth wealth" style.

In your opinion which watches inside of Longines would qualify into the stealth wealth, quiet luxury categories? I understand that its supposed to be low key or not easily recognizable by the average person yet stylish, elegant and timeless.

So I checked the Legend diver 36 in person today and immediately fell in love. The black dial with the brown leather works together perfectly for me. The sticker price on the watch was EUR 3,350.

Looking at Longines website, I noticed the pricing for USA is $3.1k/ EUR 2.85k. For Swiss, the watch would cost CHF 2.9k/ EUR 2.95k.

Was wondering how is the price so attractive in USD and CHF? Am I missing something here? Switzerland is just couple of hours by drive for me so I don’t mind the drive if I can save €400.

I am especially surprised by the $ pricing. I would have imagined Swiss watches to cost more in $ if not same as EUR.
