Lexus tx worth it?

Hi all. With the safety recall going on right now, I cannot buy a Lexus tx or a Toyota GH. I was comparing the two and can’t figure out if the Lexus is worth the price jump. I’ve read many comparisons between the two and the obvious reasons like more luxury in Lexus always come up. Besides the luxury factor is the Lexus worth getting over the Toyota? Don’t they require premium gasoline? I don’t know why this makes me nervous. I’m frugal so I just wonder about the differences. Basically I’m looking at a ten thousand dollar difference between the two.
