thank you so much! I will definitely do this
Depending where you are in Canada, there's Latino events you can hit up. We're in TO and literally EVERY Latino club plays like 90% Puerto Rican artists (Ozuna, DY, Aventura, Bad Bunny, La India, Héctor Lavoe, etc.)
There's also Latin festivals in Montreal, like Fuego Fuego, which was also like 90% PR artists. My wife and I hit up these clubs/festivals and meet people from all over Latin America, including PR. And like most have said, go where they hang out like restaurants etc (I just don't know of any PR food spots)
Anyways, embrace your Latino culture, PR has contributed to the music of Latin America in such a huge way.
I currently live 20 mins outside of toronto but i'm moving to east york with my boyfriend in september! thank you so much I didn't know there were many latino events in Toronto, i'll definitely be going to these places soon!
Best way to immerse yourself into the culture is through food. Check out on yt Borilicious, and Daysi Martinez. The first one is new school, the second one is old school.
