Never forget
🏴 No Gods, No MastersThe american genocide of the natives here from fifty million to not now a million is the most egregious crimes against humanity ever to be committed. And now american kids are taught slavery is good because job skills...people need to get a grip on this nation's vile, murderous and barbaric history.
Amen.
Growing up in a deeply reactionary western state, I was taught that these bison skull photos were part of the heroic settlement of the west. Supposedly, bison thought trains were other bison 🤡 and would charge them causing significant danger, so they railroad regrettably h*ad *to kill them en masse to keep the innocent railroad passengers safe.
No mention of indigenous people, no mention of genocide, no mention of anything that had any substantial basis in reality. But that was back when the only way to verify that was to find an accurate printed version of the information, so good luck refuting the state-mandated curriculum.
I was also taught that the mormon settlers had a beautiful symbiotic relationship with the indigenous people rather than the ethnic cleansing and genocide they committed along with massacring innocent people--including children--and blaming indigenous folks.
