Those who are familiar with the ins and outs of the land cruiser life, what would my father in laws old girl be worth? Were trying to convince him to sell it to a good home!
I wish I had the car repair skills or else I’d take it off his hands. I know how cool these things are!
It's probably not worth enough to even pay for the tow to a salvage yard. Tell you what, I can do you a favor and take it off your hands for free and you can have your driveway back.
Owner of ‘75 FJ40 here, and I pity the bank account taking on that restoration.
It'll be worth slightly more once you flip the bezel over!
I had to look up what that even meant lol
It’s upside down. It’s always on wrong.
Why sell it? You will most likely never get another one. Fix it up and dive it... they want to go places.
I’d love to put it on a trailer back to nashville with me but I’m not sure I’d have the know how to get it back to form.
Is this on Gatlin?
Not sure what you mean by that sorry
It's a street. There's one just like that right around the corner from me. The yard even looks right.
Ahh I see, no it’s not but they do live in central FL.
That's where I'm talking about.
I thought the same thing… looks identical!
You know the one? It's been there over 25 years.
Yeah, I know the one. lol. It’s a mile from my house and I pass it every time I go to Beth’s.
Better treat his daughter right and help fix it so he leaves it to you
It's worth .. whatever you can get :) great color
Sooo…is he going to sell it?
I doubt it unfortunately. Looks like it’ll be sitting in the driveway for foreseeable future.
Probably not worth as much as you would like. Pretty rusty, worth more by parting it out. $2-$3k sold whole. Just my opinion, but you can look around IH8mud.com and see what others are going for in that condition.
Safe to assume it does not run? And the rust seems to be pretty rampant. What year is it? I’d have to agree with Jeffedejeff. Not a lot and it’s only going to get worse. It will take a special person to want the whole thing.
That’s a pretty ripe banana. Should be appreciated and handled with care.
