A subreddit for LARP (Live Action Role Playing) related content. This includes LARPs across the globe, LARPing gear, how-to guides, questions and ideas related to LARPing, articles and links, and anything else LARP.

**Posting Rules**

  1. LARP is for everyone, so be civil. That means don't post rude or prejudiced comments here about any larper or larp.

  2. When mentioning a LARP please include the location in brackets. *Example*: [LOCATION] Name of LARP

  3. "Looking for game" posts are welcome, but make the effort to help us help you. Describe what you're looking for, and search the web and the subreddit before posting. Even if you don't find what you're looking for, telling us what you found that didn't meet your needs will help.

  4. Submit compelling and interesting content. Beauty may be in the eye of the Beholder (haha!), but we all know when something just isn't up to par. If *you* don't think your blog post is all that great, then we probably won't either.

  5. Personal blog posts and creations are fine as long as they follow some rules:
+ Don't spam your blog. Posting to your blog every so often is fine, but if you just keep posting them they are going to get marked as spam.
+ Take part in the community! Posts to your own content should be no more than half of your total engagement with this subreddit.
+ Make sure the content is relevant. This subreddit is for LARP, not general roleplaying. 
  6. We have some specific restrictions on costumes and portrayals to ensure that larpers of all cultures and races feel welcome in this subreddit. This restrictions are explained in detail [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/LARP/comments/cntz51/new_rule_6_welcoming_costuming_and_portrayals/).  
In short: 
* No full-face all-black face paint
* Don't use a slur for the Romani people.
* Portraying a real-life culture is great, but don't use insulting stereotypes.
