Under normal circumstances this rule would go without saying, however we are all aware that certain individuals are always present on this website who feel like they can post anything as they see fit. We will consider weekly off-topic threads in the future for the sake of it.

>* **No Self-Promotion :** 
It is welcomed to share your twitter, Pixiv, or other personal sites so that people can see more of your work. However, do not treat the subreddit as your advertisement platform. Blatant advertisement or self-promotion is prohibited, especially from users who don't interact with the community. Youtube links to your channel/video also fall under this. If you're ever in doubt you can always contact the mod team via modmail and ask.

>* **No Spamming or Reposting :** 
Make sure to not post excessive content that does not create any discussion and in general just wastes space. Users should make no more than 5 submissions to this subreddit within a 24 hour window. In order to avoid reposting, please check if your submission has been posted in the past 30 days or If It's in the all-time top list of the subreddit. All time top list is defined as the first 3 pages of the most upvoted posts on the subreddit ever. Reposts less than 30 days old will be removed.

This includes gore and nudity, it being hentai doesn't exclude it from this rule. Mild ecchi can be tolerated.

Exceptions are of course sources of information that are in Japanese (most commonly) or perhaps other languages.

>* **Source Art that is not yours :** Fan art or cosplay that was not made by you, may only be posted on Friday through Sunday (00:00 AM to 11:59 PM UTC/GMT). Credit the original artist in the comment section if it is not your work. Linking to the artists account is preferred as long as their blog or website is SFW. If you want to promote your personal art channel please offer some form of verification in the comments of your post or to the mods through modmail.

>* **Tag Spoilers Properly :** All manga posts must be spoiler tagged and posts about the two latest anime posts must be spoiler tagged. Spoilers of any kind in titles are explicitly banned! All leaks and spoilers of unreleased chapters may not be posted outside of the dedicated leak threads.

>* **1 Week Submission Rule :** Aside from the official thread, no new thread submissions about the most recent episode/chapter until 7 days have passed since the time it's released.

>* **No low-effort posts or memes :** Low effort post or post titles will be removed at the moderator's discretion. Posts with only the title and screenshot images of the anime/manga with no other content fall under this. All memes Should attempt to add on more content than just a basic screenshot of the anime or manga panel with text. They must make creative use of KnY source material and be transformative in some way shape or form. Do not post a low effort copy of an already mass-posted meme.

>* **AI Artwork Policy :** Our default policy is to remove AI art as low effort. HOWEVER, if you feel that your AI art piece constitutes high effort work and feel that it should be considered by the mod team, please submit a sample of your work via mod mail and the moderators will review the work and potentially approve it if the quality of the artwork is high. Your AI artwork will then need to be posted under an AI flair which the mod team will assign you.

>*  **Comparing character's strength :** Discuss a character's power scaling, abilities, and comparisons in the 'Weekly Power Ranking Megathread' from Monday to Friday, that can be searched by typing on search bars. On Weekends, there will be leisure to post power scaling posts of any kind.
