The purpose of this post is to help you make new friends in Jeddah.

Post the accounts or websites of communities in jeddah that host social events.

Through social events, you will be able to make new friends, but it's not a switch, it's a process. What I mean is that you will probably not able to make new friends from the first event, but the more you attend, the more people you'll meet who you will bond with time and experiences. I will post the communities I know of, I'll add more when I remember/find more, and I wish you help me with that as well.

Also, we have many Toastmasters Clubs in jeddah, and they are considered the best grounds to make new friends.

Simply message them and ask to attend as a guest. These clubs are non-profit and they are there to help others develop social and leadership skills. But they are, in my opinion, perfect place to make new friends at.

Hello all, I am in Salamah, and i am looking to commence my gym journey. Does anyone have any recommendations on whats gym is the best in Salamah or near? I do not drive, so will rely on taxis which is not an issue.

Also, preferably gyms with English speaking staff etc.

If I move to Jeddah, I will for sure need a car. As I am unsure how long I will stay there for (I will commit to a 1 year minimum), should I rent or buy a car? Ideally I would want a 7 seater but if they are rare and expensive, I'll stick to a normal 5 seater.

What should I expect to pay for renting as well as buying a car? Not after something brand new but at the same time, I don't want a banger.

So I’m away for training (تدريب تعاوني) for a few months and the rules of the accommodation that is offered forbids any pets or animals so I can’t take my cat with me, I was wondering if anyone could keep the sweetest and friendliest cat ever for just a few months until I come back and I will cover any food/litter/medical expenses needed, she’s is the sweetest and right now I had to put her in a hotel environment which is stressing her out so that is why I’m writing this ad in hopes of finding someone trustworthy to care for her until I get back.

A little info about the cat:

• She is 3 Years old and she is spayed and vaccinated

• British Longhair and Persian mix

• Name is Gattina (meaning kitten in Italian)

• never scratches or hisses, she’s absolutely the sweetest and she’s مسكينة

• Will attach to one person quickly

• Her Favorite pastime is watching pigeons through the window.

I can only come on the weekends so please if you reply be ready to receive Gattina and her supplies on the nearest weekend day.

فأنا شخص، في ظني، كنت متفوقا جدا وناجحا على جميع الأصعدة في حياتي. محبوبا من العائلة، ومجتهدا كثيرا (حسب ما أسمع).

عشت أجمل حياة وتعلمت أحسن تعليم وتقلدت مناصب ممتازة في عمر صغير وكنت ذا حياة ممتازة مع الأسرة.

اليوم، أنا عبارة عن شخص مكسور ومقطوع الأجنحة، محطما، وكثير من الصفات التي تحمل القسوة والسلبية. وجدت الحرب لا السلم والدعم، الحسد لا التمني بالخير، التثبيط لا التشجيع.

شُلت حركتي وكُبحت طموحاتي وأمنياتي وقُتلت آمالي، فزدت من العمر الفعلي الكثير عن ذلك البيولوجي وشِبت في شبابي، جرّاء ما رأيته في مجرى حياتي وفي هذه الحياة.

لطالما كانت أمنيات الحياة هي العيش الرغد، والاستقرار، والحب، والعيش في سلام وأمان. فاستكثروا علي الزواج والحياة الناجحة الطيبة.

أظن أنني عملت واجتهدت وفعلت كل ما في الوسع ولم أجد الإنصاف.
