I’m thinking about taking a trip to Vancouver, BC. Is there any good jazz to be found there? Also, feel free to give me any other recommendations for what to do while I’m visiting.
Man, the good places have closed everywhere it seems. COVID was a death nail to the small underground clubs.
There's Frankie's Jazz Club and Guilt & Co. The coastal jazz fest is also going on right now. Your best bet is to probably just google "Vancouver jazz". There isn't a huge jazz scene there though.
+1 for Frankie's. Cosy but classy. Visited back in 2022.

One of Canada's best saxophone players, Phil Dwyer, is out there playing all around BC. Hopefully you'll be able to catch him.

The Vancouver Jazz Fesitival used to be considered one of the biggest Jazz fests on the west coast (not sure if that's still true).
Seems to be already underway. Here's the website...
I miss the cellar 😢
