Bill Laswell recommendations

I liked his album with Jah Wobble. His Last Exit work is awesome. Check out his Bandcamp page. Tons of stuff there.

Nagual Site is pretty dope, especially the sax on Black Lotus.

I like his stuff but my fav Bill Laswell story is that he produced a Fela Kuti record when Fela was in jail and when Fela heard it he said listening to it was worse than being in jail LoL

Anything with Buckethead also on it is worth listening to.

Check out Sowaka by Genji Sawai. It was produced by Bill Laswell and contains a really interesting mix of avant-garde jazz and early hip-hop/electro with splashes of traditional Japanese instrumentation.

I love the album he produced "Illuminated Audio (Remixes)" with Gigi who is his wife.

Sonny Sharrock - Ask the Ages. He didn't play on it but he did produce it.

He made a drum and bass album with Nils Petter Molvaer and Fanu. It's called lodge. I do enjoy that.
