6 months left for MAINs, DO YOU THINK IT'S WORTH TAKING A DROP NOW???

yeah nearly 6months left and is it too late to take a drop?

My story: got 95.5%ile(29s2) my maths syllabus is almost finished(99% syllabus is finished ig) even in mains i got aroung 50 marks, phy syllabus also finished with some holes in my prep here and there. In chemistry though i have just basic understandings of every chapter, thats it im not good in a particular chapter in chemistry. Man the reason why i scored this low is my shitty coaching they never let me prepare by myself, (understandable) yeah they never let me be absent so weekly I used 1 or 2 days off to learn online and i still think I have the potential in me to get good marks.

So will it be okay for me to take a drop??? Well the thing is i dont have any college secured now except for a bangalore university but its fees is just 1-2 lakhs less than BITS fees and its package isnt more than 14lpa will have to take a loan for it, got around 2 weeks left for bitsat idk how well I'd do in it. Idk if i can do drop because it requires high level of self commitment and idk if I'd mess up my drop. Note that i wont be going to any offline coaching for drop rather will study everything online.

yeah, iske portion khatam hai you need to give mocks and fix holes in your prep, toh tere liye 6 kaafi hai, but someone with a lower percentile and portion left is in a difficult situation

My entire 11th was missing. I took offline coaching in drop year and studied all 11th and 12th again in depth in 6 months and a month of mock tests.

98 toh bilkul kar sakta hai, don't get lazy, study all the time as you have no time, mocks are necessary, give loads of mocks,mathingo ki lele aur part tests de, keeping up with the part tests syllabus ensures syllabus time se complete hoga and that is necessary for mains, time allot karna seekh, physics chem syllabus completion is necessary, physics chem 1-1.5 hours mai khatam karna seekh aim high, you can score 180 in physics and chem if you study all day, maths toh insaan aur uski practice dependent hai, 98 pe rank low banegi agli saal aur colleges bhi theek thak milte hai, i scored 98 in first attempt and that gave me a reality check as to what colleges ill actually get, phir s2 mai improve ki, aim high

Doubt solving jaaye bhaad me 🤡🤡🤡 Aim to advance hi h but 1st mains tak practise mainly mains oriented rkhunga, january bhot acha gya to adv shuru kr dunga agar acha nhi gya tho direct bitsat prep krdunga

It is possible to score good in mains and even advance too but bro please 3-4 backup apne paas rakhke chaliyo and mains, bits and comedk jaise exam ko priority deta chaliyo

it all depends on you. If you think you can study consistently for 6 months straight, work hard and solve questions without getting distracted, you will definitely get a good rank in jee. But be prepared that competition will rise for sure. It will be hard to score good in that competition but if u work hard u can definitely get a good rank. So think a Lil bout it before taking a drop.
