What kind of marks are these? I was laying in the grass near a lake
Seconded, thats a pretty clear bullseye. At the very least youre at risk for lyme. Def pop into the clinic sooner rather than later
What if I didn’t see a tick at all? 🥺
The nymphs can be really, really small. I fourth or fifth what everyone else is saying- that looks a lot like erythema migrans (IANAD and I do not play one on TV, so go see a real doctor, free clinic if necessary). You do not want Lyme disease, and leaving it untreated will be WAY more expensive in the long run, if that’s what it is.
Google Lyme disease and then tell me you wanna risk it because you’re too lazy to go to the docs.
It looks like a tick bestie. ☹️ Go to the doctor.
😖 I hope not. I don’t have insurance and already have a medical bill 😓
OP, Lyme disease is treatable in the early stages. If you don't get this sorted you're going to have to live with chronic (meaning constant, forever) illness. Just bite the bullet and get perscibed some antibiotics.
My favorite part:
If untreated, symptoms may include loss of the ability to move one or both sides of the face, joint pains, severe headaches with neck stiffness or heart palpitations. Months to years later, repeated episodes of joint pain and swelling may occur. Occasionally, shooting pains or tingling in the arms or legs may develop.
So, really, do not leave this untreated.
Money problems seem overwhelming but are temporary. Untreated Lyme disease, for many, is permanent and painful.
Urgent care can usually take care of this!
That SUUUUCKS! If it makes you feel any better, I once had one on my scalp as a kid for like 3 days that no one noticed bc I’m a girl with long, thick hair and I never got Lyme or anything else. My mom just like ripped it out with tweezers which is NOT what you are supposed to do. You will probably be fine, but it is best to get it checked if at all possible bc the diseases those things carry are brutal.
Tick bite or chigger bite. Alcohol wipe. You should Take preventive doxycycline 200mg single dose because target shape— you can get it prescribed by free clinic in your area. Don’t wait.
Chigger itch goes away slowly; over a week or so. hot then cold helps, followed by a dab of oil.
If you didn't see or notice any bugs crawling on you in general, they may be chigger bites. Too small to see them, but their bites make up for their size. Could be ticks as others have said, but they remind me of my previous chigger bites. In any case, DON'T count on Reddit or the greater internet for medical diagnosis!!!
Chiggers
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I don't know what they are but I hope you had fun getting them
The second one looks similar to a tick bite bullseye, I have chronic untreated lime for 11 years and permanently disabled because of it, see a doctor IMMEDIATELY
