Men on this subreddit (and women can also weigh in their opinions), I want to know your thoughts on hickeys. So, for context I'm a 28F and I just started dating again after ending a five year long serious relationship so I might be a bit rusty in the dating scene (online dating is a nightmare, but that's a discussion for another day). I met a very attractive and sweet guy (28M) a few days back and we went for a drive for our first meeting and some 🍃. We enjoyed talking to each other and the next day decided to meet up again. He came over to my place and one thing led to another and I somehow ended up with three huge hickeys (🙈). He did take my permission before giving me the said hickeys to which I complied in the spur of the moment. I know we're not teenagers anymore but it was hot in the moment and I was enjoying myself. Now, I want to know from other men what do you think about when you see hickeys on a woman you are meeting for the first time? Purely asking because I do want to meet up another guy and the hickeys are going to take some time to go away. Please don't be judgemental, I'm simply looking for some male perspective here.

Edit: FYI I'm not looking for anything serious and I always mention this to everyone I match with. So, we're on the same page and looking for the same things.

Edit 2: I get that it's shocking for guys to hear about a girl who is sexual and likes exploring her sexuality. For them, such girls just automatically get tagged as sluts or whores. And I'm not trying to hide anything but I guess I got my answer which is that men like to put women on a pedestal. Also, this sub is filled with absolute misogynists. Can we stop pretending that half the men commenting are not fucking around or at least wanting to fuck around? It's different for them probably because they aren't getting any. The amount of judgement is crazy. Why is it that the same lot of men always want a pure, innocent woman to exploit? Also, this just goes to show how a lot of men (boys) out there are in some serious need of education. I don’t care what standards you grew up with. Women also grew up with some fucked up standards.
