Just recently got back into gaming and got myself a ps5.
I’m from Australia so sometimes it’s hard to find servers on certain games, so I was just wondering if hell let loose would still be worth getting in 2024?

I’m NA and it’s only popular at peak times for my zone but im not sure what it’s like for Australian servers
In Sydney. I play most days and there is no problems with servers. It might put u in a quiet one sometimes but stay and it will fill up or leave and find another (after being out back the same server a few times) you can start up the PS5 and be in a game within 1.5 mins. Love it
AU servers are very well populated on console. Just keep crossplay (between consoles) on and there'll always be full/near full servers anytime except mornings. Have even found full servers on weekdays during daytime in moments where I've been sick
My understanding is that Australian servers are almost always used for clan v clan matches because they’re so empty.
I heard there’s a free weekend for PS soon? Sony is having issues but once that’s sorted out that’d be a good chance to try it

Bloke from Perth here, Friday-sunday you'll find full matches but stay in them cause you could end up in an empty one haha also typically matches with like over 20 per team will fill up quick. I haven't played during the week in months so I can't speak on that

The real question is: is it fun? Popularity is only important to justify continued development by T17. So far that seems to be the case, so it’s popular enough. As for fun, best PVP experience you will find anywhere: complex and immersive, beautiful maps, great community. And you bought the right console, apparently the Xbox world is suffering with the game right now. I’m on a PS5 and it’s flawless.
Gday mate, i live in Aus and play regularly. The community alone is a good enough reason to get the game, then playing it for me is one of the best online FPS games for console. Ive just clocked a cheeky 1000hrs on it and can easily see myself playing for another 1000.
I ended up joining a clan as pub matches can be a bit boring if both teams aren’t really coordinated and ones being steamed rolled regularly. But when both teams have good commanders, squad leads that’s know they need those garries and OP’s, fuck me this game will hook you. A solid 90 minute warfare battle is the best gameplay experience ive ever had.
The Aussie HLL community is absolutely elite, as long as you’ve got comms you’ll be right.

I would say it’s .losing players at a fair rate due to instability issues....I used to play with 20+ regular people. most now moved on
I’m in NA but play latenight and when US servers die out around 11pm pst I swap to Aussie servers and don’t have any issues finding games. It’s Crossplay with Xbox so there’s a 2platforms worth of players to fill lobbies. You can also join a clan or group and always have people to play with. There’s lots of solid Aussie groups.
