This was too funny
Amphetamine abuse.
genuine question, how does that lead to the jaw thing?
People who are on strong stimulants like Adderall, MDMA, Amphetamines etc. tend to clench their jaw pretty hard and grind their teeth. It makes them do the strange sort of stimming, chewing motions he does all the time.
Apparently it's an adjustment he made from when he was younger since he had a lisp. Idk if it's considered ableist to make fun of it or not.
I mean, I'm not in a position to judge one way or the other re: ableism and to be frank I'm not certain that's convincing, given that he's openly admitted to using Adderall. I'm not even making fun of him anyway - just explaining that amphetamine abuse causes that same tic.
I wouldn't be shocked if he's lying but I don't really see the intent in doing so given that he does admit his drug usage.
Alcoholics will attribute their problems to anything but alcohol. Probably something similar.
As someone who's struggled with alcohol, idk how I feel about that analogy. My alcoholism was bad during COVID after a breakup where I felt alone and detached from the world. I worked on abstaining it and found it hard. When things got better and I was able to hang out with friends again and have a healthy social life, I've found it easier to drink responsibly instead of drinking to get drunk. Not the same for everyone ofc, some people can't control it and even one sip is enough for them to relapse.
There videos of him admitting this with a talk with Dr. K (idk how we feel about him) and he's mentioned his son has the same issue but is in speech therapy to correct it properly.
Edit: I guess my explanation for my situation can be perceived as an excuse to not blame alcohol, but the absoluteness of it doesn't sit well with me. I think there's space for some nuance.
Perhaps I should qualify what I mean - lifelong alcoholics who don't accept that their use is hurting them will sometimes attribute their problems to anything but alcohol. Could be similar.
It runs in my family and I've been through it too. It sucks. But that's not really the point i was trying to make.
No, it's just a reflex. He was not on ADHD meds in the earlier clips and you can see he was still doing it.
It reminds me of the canadians in South Park....
some people with TMJ do it or they learned to talk wrong. I had a friend in college who did the same thing and was doing exercises to fix it.
Is that not a condition that he has.
Yeah, talk out your ass condition.
The condition is being high as fuck all the time. Dude must be popping adderall like they're candy. That jaws swinging so much, it reminds me of my coke days.
I saw clips of him talking about it, it's how he adjusted to stop himself from talking with a lisp, he didn't have speech therapy so it was pretty pronounced but apparently it's better than it was.
Did he seriously have to look up if Egypt borders Russia??
Ik, I laughed so hard at that. Did he sleep during middle school geography?
Stop posting this dude here. He is not worth our time.
I just thought it was funny. Everything I have learned about Destiny has been against my will, so I get it. But I thought this collection of him completely contradicting himself was pretty amusing.
I get it. I learned about him the same way, but it was very apparent very early on that this guy is not it. So let's just move on. His fan base wants this weird drama vs Hasan to keep going. So let's not give them anymore time of day.
I definitely understand your point.
"You can argue in a very technical sense that I was incorrect, but the correctness is even more in my direction than it was on the other side."
Amazing lmfao I'm stealing that.
senior quote material that
"Norm is worse than randoms I bring on."
"He must not have any educational background at all."
I get being confident. I get being smug. But good God.
It was very difficult to listen to him say that, especially after he said he started a bachelorās degree in music and thatās why he considers himself an expert in music.
There is a very old non pc term for a man of his ilk, itās a slack jawed something something
hes too stupid too take seriously when I saw michael brooks beat his ass without trying it was ova
Heās changed, right? Like heās never been good, but he hasnāt always been this bad. Iāve always thought that, but these clips really seem to confirm it.
God he's so ugly
Ik, I don't feel bad for being mean when he is so awful
Yeah same
Why does his mouth move to the side so much when he yaps? I donāt know why but it drives me crazy
