These 3 babies are very lucky and very happy. Our neighbor's daughter's cat had a litter and these three little angels popped out with about 4 other kittens.
The owners were not good people. We started with one kitten, but ended up taking 3 because of obvious mistreatment and neglect.
They're extremely blessed to be here. They love their orange daddy very much and he loves them to death.
When they were babies he used to follow them around the entire apartment making sure they were always ok. Watching him walk through the hallway carrying a little baby in his mouth was just the CUTEST thing ever.
Oh my goodness my orange male did the same. Someone ditched a mom and her litter and we took them in. Dreamer, my big orange lug saw that momma was exhausted and started caring for them (cleaning them, showing them the litter box, showing them the food) and they would cuddle like yours at nap time. It is so heartwarming to see them do that. 😍
Ugh this is feeding into my nagging idea to get my nuggy boi a kitten! I got him at 3 yrs old (8 now) and have never had a kitten. I keep saying no bc i wanna be responsible. Maybe I could foster and see how it goes…
This reminds me of my Garfield. His lady was away at the vet for a few days because she was very sick (don't worry, she's all better now!) And he took over full parenting duties for their baby. He would even let him "nurse" even though the little guy was weaned. I guess it helped remind him of his Momma ❤️
dad cat is diff from mom cat. dad cat gets sick of your shit and takes a nap, does not care if you wander out of the nest. dad cat calls you a dumb little shit, but also that you are his dumb little shit, and he loves you. most of the time.
Oh I see now why they are called that, Google searching the pictures show some starkingly beautiful blue eyes in those cats. Thank you for explaining it.
Orange bois are the best foster dads / big brothers. Here is Linus after teaching Mishka how to attain a higher altitude (a piece of furniture leaned up against door frame)
