I drive a lot during the night, and every time I get in my car, lagi kong chinecheck back seat ko if may “kasama” ako. 😖

I love driving in the rain, so much that if it started raining and I'm at home, I'll take my car out and drive. If it rained while I'm on the road, I'll slow down, not for safety, but so I can enjoy the rain even longer.

I always tap the dashboard of my car after a long trip to say “thank you”

Some people find it weird whenever it takes me about 5minutes after parking before pa magpatay ng engine. In my case, ino-off ko yung aircon tapos naka todo ang fan para matuyo yung loob at di magbuild up ang mold. So far mataas na mileage ng car pero never pa kinailangan magpalinis ng aircon dahil sobrang lamig pa rin even at just 23-24 degrees

I walk around the car everytime before I get in to check the tires for flats

I take a picture of the label in mall parking lots before I enter to remember where I parked as well as the cars parked beside me in case I see a dimple that wasn't there before.

I park beside pillars when I can to lessen parking in between cars.

Once I park, I pray again, then tap the steering wheel (ulit) and say thank you.

I almost got involved sa accident sa nlex nung isang araw. May lumipad na tabla from s truck, muntik na sa windshield, pero pumailalim yung kahoy, sobrang kumatok yung ilalim ko and I couldn't stop at may kasunod din akong mabilis. Anyway, pag uwi ko, i checked everything. Tapped the car and said, thank you.

I don't know if this counts as weird, but when I'm by myself, I recline passenger seat all the way back. It helps with visibility on the blind spot area on the right side.

I triple lock my doors and window. Pabalik balik ako na checking hahaha tapos seatbelt + tingin lagi sa paligid nakakatakot na ngayon baka may sumusunod pala

I have my own driving shoes.

If I’m stepping inside my car, I’ll switch to my driving shoes. If I’m hoping out of my car, I’ll switch to my casual shoes.

Look back twice or thrice pag naka park na and say “ganda ng car ko”.

Maselan sa linis. I almost clean my car every other day lalo na pag tag ulan. If I don't clean, I won't leave the house ng hindi pinupunasan lahat ng salamin and yung hood basta ayokong aalis ng bahay ng makapal alikabok sa mga salamin.

Also, another habit of mine is that when I'm about to go home, I always make sure to give my cars a proper "stretch" (full throttle and full boost) just to give it some exercise. Luckily, I live in an area where there are two long and open roads 😅

I used to use a pillow as a booster seat to boost my confidence in driving, not to see better over my car. I felt a little bit scared without it.😭

If I use manual car, I run neutral often and shake the stickshift. I max the handbrake during stopsigns with my automatic

I always try to get the best fuel economy. I treat it like a game, trying to get the best L/100km or km/l. It prolly came from the time that I daily-d a gas guzzling car, it transferred over to the raize that im using now.

“stretching” my engine by running on full throttle with slightly open windows to hear boost for a short period of time since bugbog siya sa city driving.

unless it's raining super hard, i use the wipers manually

pag incline parking, after engaging the handbrake, i will shake and wiggle for 2-3 seconds to see if the car budges, kahit bago pa yung car

pag alphard or foton traveller yung gamit ko, laging almost 90 degrees yung seat parang truck yung setup, pero all other cars i set the seat reclined backwards

Paulit ulit ko nirerewind music sa favorite parts para mag match sa scenery and pretend im in a music video.

Once lang every quarter ako magpalinis ng sasakyan.

Iniintay ko mag fully boot up yung media console bago ko suutin yung seatbelt ko at i-andar ang kotse. Tapos handbrake pa rin ako pag patay ng kotse Kahit 20 years na akong automatic.

Dahil sa peripheral vision ko, napapalingon ako sa mga sasakyan sa mga intersections na nasa right so nakadevelop ako ng habit na everytime may intersection sa right side eh titignan ko siya kung may sasakyan ba or wala.

I check the doors three to five times if locked na kahit engaged na yung alarm. May times na I check all doors pa.

I drive with my barefoot or with socks pag manual. Last time nagsuot ako ng sapatos muntik ako mabangga and sobrang jerky ng sasakyan di ko ma-control. Pag matic dala ko clogs (crocs) or vans, never slippers.

After driving the car we have, I usually tap either 1) either side mirrors or 2) the taillights and say "thank you" to it. Idk, nakasanayan ko na siya palagi after ko mag drive at pagkadating sa paroroonan ko kasi safe naman nakaalis.

Since i’m used to driving manual. Oag naka automatic ako and traffic or stoplight matagal. I pug it in neutral and engage parking brake. I find it faster than full stop and stepping on brake for long periods of time or put it to Park and putting strain sa locking pin

Kapag di ko makita masyado yung daanan -- either kapag umuulan, ma-fog, or madilim -- binababa ko ng onti yung bintana not to hear outside noise but to see the road better.

I live in a condominium and may dedicated parking floors kami. When I park my car I check that it's locked probably about fifteen times; ichecheck ko mga pinto after first locking the car, then habang naglalakad paalis, pipindutin ko yung lock button sa remote key just to make sure again na naka-lock siya.

Tapos habang hinihintay 'yung elevator, tatakbo ako pabalik tapos pipindutin ulit yung lock key ko for good measure hahaha. Parang ritwal na siya every time na nagpapark ako.

When I park at home, I lift my wipers, I spray my windshield with water, then wipe. I had a bad experience with dust buildup that scratched the windshield of my first car.

Pag galing naman sa ulan, I wipe the rainwater from all windows and glass. Again, a bad experience from waterspots. I have watermark remover but I'd rather minimize the need to use it lalo't acidic yung meron ako.

Every car that I ever owned has a plushie/stuffed toy that represents the vehicle. 😅 kind of like a guardian.

1) Press the lock button once. 2) Pull all the door handles twice to check if it is really locked. 3) Press the lock button on the key fob twice 4) Pull the driver side door handle three times to check if it's really locked. 5) Using my cellphones flash light check if I put the shift lever on park, the parking brake is up and the door lock is locked. 6) Press the lock button two more times. 7) Check if I didn't leave any windows down or the trunk open.

Paranoid lang hahaha. Yung unang car ko kasi na 2005 ford focus hindi nag lo-lock ng tuluyan yung driver side rear door, yun cguro dahilan kung bakit ganito ako 😅

I stroke/pat the dash of my car after a full tank and say "ayan busog na siya" with a smile on my face. Lalo na kapag na sagad na almost empty dahil pinilit pumunta sa suki na murang gas station.

I always slow down to give way sa mga pamerge or pedestrians kahit nauna na sila magbigay sakin HAHAHAHAHA idk pero dati kasi nung naka mc palang ako, danas ko yung banas pag di pinagbigyan pumasok or tumawid sa kabilang lane, and now na pa tsekot tsekot na, pwede nako magslow down kasi malayo palang nag babrake na ako to avoid getting collisions from the rear.

I love driving slow at night pag sa mga city roads lalo na pag umuulan. Parang napaka dramatic. Haha! Hassle lang minsan kasi busina nang busina ung nasa likod. HAHAHAHA!
