I’m wondering how are the roads and if it’s changing to drive there. It’s difficult to go from one part of the island on another or it’s like business as usual? If you have time and knowledge about things worth to go, see and spend some time there I would really appreciate!
Thank you for your time!
Im from Lefkada, most towns on the island are connected via one road that essentially loops around the whole island. The roads on the east coast are very straightforward, on the west coast of the island the roads are slightly more tricky but nothing crazy just a lot of slopes and turns, because that side is mountainous. The fact that its a single road that everyone has to use to go from point A to B means you might meet some traffic espacially if you run into a bus or something large and especially during the summer months because tourists are too scared to overtake. But yeah generally you'll be fine its the same as driving around village roads anywhere in Europe.
Highly reccommend the famous beaches: Porto Katsiki and Egkremnoi. Must see towns are the main town of Lefkada at the north of the island and Nydri town. And yeah just enjoy! Lefkada is generally more on the chill side compared to other islands, mainly families visit.
