What is driving like in Lefkada?

Im from Lefkada, most towns on the island are connected via one road that essentially loops around the whole island. The roads on the east coast are very straightforward, on the west coast of the island the roads are slightly more tricky but nothing crazy just a lot of slopes and turns, because that side is mountainous. The fact that its a single road that everyone has to use to go from point A to B means you might meet some traffic espacially if you run into a bus or something large and especially during the summer months because tourists are too scared to overtake. But yeah generally you'll be fine its the same as driving around village roads anywhere in Europe.

Highly reccommend the famous beaches: Porto Katsiki and Egkremnoi. Must see towns are the main town of Lefkada at the north of the island and Nydri town. And yeah just enjoy! Lefkada is generally more on the chill side compared to other islands, mainly families visit.

The roads in Lefkada are very good but are mostly single lane. We went at the end of December so it was entirely deserted. But I can definitely envisage traffic being slow in the busy Summer months. Egremini, Porto Katsiki are the most beautiful beaches and I would definitely go to the lighthouse of Lefkada too. The drives are also coastal and provide some stunning scenery.

Another thing to consider is what time of the year you are going, because parking can be difficult. Parking in lefkada town and some of the popular beaches during peak summer months can be very difficult.

Driving in the middle can be a lot different, like the road is very narrow, high plants on both sides, can't see anything coming.
