Anyone else feel that once you learn, understand and practice your verbal strategies of choice (for me, it’s Gregmat, so Math Strategy et all), it’s somewhat futile to practice without a strong grasp of vocabulary?

I’m using GregMat to study; I am focusing on my Quant, which is generally weaker than my verbal (and bc I want to go to business school). For verbal, I have a grasp of the strategies but still working on vocab. I find that, in my experience, when I infrequently go to practice verbal or do the verbal HW, I don’t know several words, so I only get the right answer after googling definitions. I’m planning on hammering down all of (or as much of) the vocab as possible before going back and doing more of the assignments. Anyone take a similar approach? Just curious
