I love everyone’s different freakout at Freddie showing up as a goth. Such a good scene!
He’s a goth now. 🕸️
Classic FrasierOhhh Matron!
Kelsey is so great at physical comedy. I know it’s over the top and cheesy but it’s my favorite part of the show.
I love the open mindedness of Frasier pointing out that he’s trying to understand what Goths are based on their historical reference.
That’s a good dad right there. Can’t imagine most dad’s trying to understand their 90’s goth kids that openly.
Most dads would've put that kid in military school lol
Idk, I was a goth kid back in the early 00s and my dad constantly tried to argue me out of it by bringing up the Visigoths, like this had any actual bearing on the conversation. It did not feel at all like he wanted to understand me; he just wanted to be a pedant until I realized the error of my ways.
Which is kind of ironic, since he should've been pedantic about gothic architecture and all of that instead if he wanted to hit on the actual theme of the aesthetic lol.
I like to think he went straight into the spare bedroom and began playing Sisters of Mercy
My money's on The Jesus And Mary Chain.
Is there a spare room in that condo? I don’t think I saw it in the floor plans. If so that’s one big condo, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms one kitchen and living room with balcony.
And what seems to be a small kitchen for that size of a condo.
Very true. Not much counter space to pull off these big parties. I guess it’s why they cater so often. Come to think of it Niles kitchen is tiny too.
In one or two scenes they zoomed out and you see the floor to ceiling cabinets and the chairs around the island that has the stove. You can tell the set designers accommodated the kitchen design to be used in a bigger way than it was. The Frasier set is one of the best! It has such true depth to it. So many sitcoms feel like they’re those tiny rooms that IKEA has. LOL
I guess they figurte if you are that rich, you certainly don't ever really cook anything anyways
I wonder if the hat museum was the guest bedroom?
It’s a puzzler for sure. Cause on the one hand Freddy needed a room and I assume so did Ferguson. But when Niles has to stay there he has to share a room with Martin then Frasier.
It’s odd for sure. If I remember correctly now, the hat museum was a closet for the washer/dryer later on so there must be another room…?
True no one could stay in such a small space. It’s just one of those “sitcom inconsistencies”.
Exactly. Like the way the kitchen is soundproof when it needs to be, and not when it’s convenient not to be.
I wish we'd gotten an entire arc of Goth Freddy.
That would have been hilarious!
I love Daphne’s chirpy “he’s a goth now!”
While trying to restrain her look of horror it’s perfect!
“That’s so goth.” “It is NOT goth!” 😂
That line gets me every time.
I like how Frasier gets so offended by the comment while watching his video 😂
An all time line for me too!
Martin damn near killed me in this episode with his hilarious behavior. 🤣🤣🤣
He gave us so so so much in this episode. This was the birth of The Dog Army!
Right turn, left turn
Now just have some BBQ pudding chips and your day will be perfect!
You taste that and tell me it’s not better than a woman!
Every now and then when I’m ordering groceries I’m tempted to order chocolate pudding and a bag of BBQ chips just to see how gross it is. Someone in that writer’s room must have a hilarious reason for that recipe!
The reason is pretty self evident I think given the context
I want that to be the reason! LOL
Honestly it's pretty good. Salty plus sweet. Helps to be stoned though.
- drops keys and proceeds to hysterically laugh *
As a former goth, I related to this so much.
My kid at about 15 did the goth thing, although not quite so over the top with the eye make up as Freddie. . Although he did dye his beautiful hair black, started wearing knee high combat style boots, and rather ratty looking long black trenchcoat nearly every day.. oh and he pierced his eyebrow with a large safety pin! He kept it hidden for quite a while with the long "Cure" hair do.
Thank god he ended up normal 💯
I'm glad Freddie has a proper career now, but I would've enjoyed these episodes more if he was a better actor as a kid.
Glad I’m a perky quirky goth cause all that black, makeup and “depression” ain’t me .

Nile’s face is priceless 😂
