Next time a chest won’t open run away. In save the world mode it’s a chest monster that will kill you so possibly an accidental cross over glitch. Not sure if you play creative mode but when making a map and using the pre fabs I’ve noticed that it looks like it’s glitchy in certain areas and when I edit and delete it appears double surface area so 9/10 whenever Fortnite has an update if you feel like you’re lagging a lot it’s due to double surface area like for example a rock on a rock or a tree on a tree. I’ve even opened a chest with a chest inside on Fortnite before. Hence why I always say Fortnite has bugs lol and shortly after each major update they have patch updates. Hope this helps.♎️

Fortnite servers are having issues. From what I’ve read half the internet is having issues right now, including AWS which is what Fortnite uses for its hosting. People speculating cyber attacks, but I think it had something to do with AT&T’s backup network fell down. Not sure why it’s lasting a week though.
