The dealer that I traded in my Ultra at called to check on how I was enjoying my new car. About half way through the conversation he said the Fisker was back on their lot. It failed to sell multiple times at auction, and was now back for $33k on their lot. So if anyone in the NY area is looking for a white ultra with just under 6000 miles, I’m sure they’d be willing to make a deal
Wow, sucks for the dealer but I love that for once a customer will come out on top 😊
They gave me $35k as a trade!
Dang that’s great! (Relatively). I got 26500 yesterday for my extreme. And a weight off my shoulders…
ouch! I agree, I felt better not having to worry about it, but I do miss that car. I still took a solid hit, looks like you did quite a bit more.
Lesson learned to lease EVs. And do more diligence.
seriously! I thought after waiting for 2 years for that thing it would be great, but turned into a mess. Traded in my Model 3, which I had for 4 years for it. I get to drive a Solterra around now for the next 5, hopefully something fun comes along next time around! Did you get something else yet?
R1T 😁. Was definitely looking at the bZ4x/solterra but as mentioned have now discovered leasing and that seems like a good fit. Still not enamored of the headlights but seems like the company is doing things mostly right and RJ seems like a genuinely decent human.
I don't hate the Solterra, I ended up in a base and it's a bit boring compared to my previous cars. But it drives nicely and is comfortable, I don't need it to be a road trip car, so it'll work fine. I really like the Rivians, just a bit out of my price range, but hoping the R2 will be out and ready on my next round. Enjoy the R1T and a working keyfob!
Yeah and the solterra is going to have service and support! It was so nice to open the Rivian app immediately after closing the deal and have it recognize me :)
I got 27k for my Ultra with 1k miles on it 10 days ago. Leased a Lexus RZ450E, didn’t have much of a choice but I’m happy with what I ended up with. Hated to say goodbye though, they are selling my FOU for $31,900…or trying to.
Nice job! The other offers for mine were 20 and 22 (and 0) and the loss sucks but the low level daily anxiety is gone ;)
What did you get?
that is why I don't feel bad about it. I now own a Solterra that I paid almost full price for the week before they slashed prices and offered the 0% on top of it being a Solterra
this was before or after price slash
it was the week of, before it was fully out there. When I heard about them, that was the last straw for me. So I started looking for places to trade it. Subaru was the only one that made an offer on it
then that means you suckered them, gj lol. I probably shoulda done the same but I was expecting no one would take it once it was announced.
I can’t say I provided all of the information that was coming. But they spent and hour calling around and deciding. I had a deal with VW the night before and then when I was going to leave to pick up an ID4 they backed out of their appraisal the night before
Probably why they called you to let you know the car you suckered them into buying is not selling. With FIsker removing the accidental premium features by the end of the year for the Ultra, will be even harder to sell.
He mentioned it while checking in on the other, but it was definitely part of the call. I joked the day after I turned it in I was going to be banned from trade ins at that dealer 😂
