This was my first ever released song. It took me 13 hours of work... And 10+ years of FL studio lol
Feedback FridayBanger!
Omg thanks!
That's some PHAT bass!
Sick!! Like a mix of future bounce, bass and classic house. It's funky. Also, great job on the stereo width and mixing.
Some potential ideas:
- I think you could strip things down even more in the drop by using a gate. I hate the Fruity Limiter one, the release is too lazy and easily causes distortion. I've been using Dyna-mite by Softube lately which is much tighter and more responsive (happens to be on sale, and I'm not an affiliate).
- In the same vein, I'd shorten the release on your main sounds in the drop.
- For this style, I think you could do a lot with reverb automation or a reverb send, sidechained to the synth sound (think David Guetta Future Rave or Brooks). You may have this already set up, I couldn't tell.
- I'd spend more time on your transitions, adding effects and space to improve the flow between sections.
- The Fruity Squeeze or bitcrusher effect in the intro can be way more aggressive or just removed. It's only audible once, and IMO it doesn't fit the rest of the track.
Music wise, the house piano riff you have at bar 31 really takes the cake and deserves to be more front and center. You could almost solo it at the start, after a transition like a tape stop and rest. Right now in that section, it's competing with the vocal sample you filter in. I'd make them work more together and let the piano take the lead.
Overall, great stuff and keep it up!
Edit: fixed typos
omg thank you so much for the useful feedback. I’ll definitely check for the Dyna-mite. Also, yes in my latest tracks I've played around more with the reverb n shit. Anyway thanks again, this is one of the more useful feedback here really appreciate. Cheers for the suggestions!

Merci beaucoup! J'apprécie énormément!
Sick ! The bass works !!!!
This is tight
That's a floor burner. Big track! Excellent movements and plots. I love the early/ old-school piano line, which fits the vibe but brings a lot more variation to the warmdown and rebuild transitions. Not that the temperature drops that much in this track 😉
Yes, it's a really good track ✌️
Thanks!!!! Appreciate it!!
This goes hard
This is a banger! I really like the heavy bass.

How did you create that bass sound
I fux wit it. Sometimes it’s better to polish your skills and come out with something you feel good about.
Hard
This is SO sick!!! When you say it took you 13 hours of work and 10+ years of FL studio, do you mean in total? And this is your first finished track after 13 years? :) Not judging at all, just genuinely curious. I have yet to finish a track and it's been like a year and a half of slowly learning how to produce so it's kind of refreshing to see this post (If that is the case!)
Nice! Bazille for the bass synth?
holy shit thats dope. kinda short tbh but thats sick
that bass is fucking dirtyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I loved ace of base growing up, so I’m loving the part that kicks in around 1:39
Structure is strange and it’s barely 2mins long. Nothing wrong with music as such but I feel like the drop came way too quick, didn’t last long and then piano bit was sudden quite long and didn’t go anywhere, second drop again came too quick after break and progressed very quickly to an outro. Worth referencing structures of big hits or tracks you love, if you already did maybe you’ve picked the wrong one for this type of track.
It's really good just maybe change the kshmr sample and find something similar becz it's way too overused..it's not bad but it's overused
Hey u/itspulcio, thanks for submitting to r/FL_Studio!
