Must have travel experiences before kids

Hi all- my husband and I are early 30s (HENRY) planning to start building our family & having kids in the next year or so.

We love to travel and are wondering if there are any experiences that we should have before we start having kids. I know we can travel with kids to some degree, especially as they get older, but would love any advice that you all may have on trips you wish you did before kids!

To give you a bit of background, places we have recently traveled to include Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and some of western Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, France).

My son, now 18 is one of the most well traveled kids I know - and I’ve unfortunately spoiled him w lots of luxury stays but he knows he needs to work hard to afford such things!

But there are trips that are great to do as a couple such as-

Safari (while there are some appropriate for kids - the really good ones will have over 14 requirements). You can also couple Cape Town, Wine country and Krueger into one nice tour of South Africa.

Tahiti and Society Islands - The Paul Gauguin Cruise is another one of these trips that comes to mind. More romantic and couple focused.

Norway road trip - something that wouldn’t necessarily be fun for kids but touring around at your own pace to some of the most spectacular scenery on earth.

Italy wine tour - or Spain wine tour - or any country known for wine if you like to spend lazy afternoons at vineyards and country homes!!!

I am a luxury TA and have curated some very spectacular trips and if you are only two traveling it’s the best time to take advantage of credit card points and airline miles as once you add one or even 2 kids to the mix it’s really hard to use for flights once you have more than 2 people. I have added that to my service since most people aren’t great at figuring out best way to use them!!?

Oh forgot about Bali and all of SE Asia for that matter!?! So many options.
