I want to start a bookkeeping or services type of business. I am not a bookkeeper and I don't have any service business skills. I would outsource all of the labor or bookkeeping and I would handle marketing, client satisfaction, managing the subcontractors, etc. Is there shame in this because I'm not "doing the real work myself"? Or is this what all business owners do? I like the idea of doing it this way because I can get the business started really fast and start providing value to people.

Also is this type of business sellable? Say I get it to 30k per month using outsourced subcontracting only, is that factored in when selling the company or is the sell price based off of the monthly recurring revenue?

Thanks guys.
