Need assistance

Should my temp be fluctuating? It goes above by about 3-4 degrees then drops the same. It never truly stablizes.

Extruder issues

My E3Pro running on Klipper 4.2.2 board, has begun to have extruder issues. I have a direct drive (Reality not sprite) on it and when the motor is installed it click as in there isn't enough torque to push through. I figured that the motor was worn out so I replaced it and have the same problem.

The only troubleshooting I haven't done was increase the voltage on the board. Before I attempt this any other suggestions? I thought maybe running it back on Marlin and see if it's a software setting. Any other thoughts?

Time to increase speed

So im in the process of deciding on what todo to increase my speed. I dont wamt to get into thebthousands of accel and dozens of jerk but id like to print at 200mm, 1k accel amd 25-50 jerk what mods should i be looking at? Im new still to 3d printing so i ndont know a lot rn. And tbh i spent my past 3 months learning to abuse slicer settings more so than anything else. So any asistance would be greatly appreciated My rig is simple rn only doing a dual gear extruder dual z cr touch silicone bed mounts. So nothi g crazy for now. I dont have one of those direct drive adapters for the stock extruder i use for tpu prints. But im open to get a entire new hot end for the future. Ty for yalls time.

Fair price for used ender 3 pro?Question

I was thinking of selling my 3D printer, so I could fund an upgrade. What would be a fair price to ask for?

Ender 3 pro from 2020. Still works perfectly fine, I still use it occasionally. Used as a hobbyist machine, not a print farm. 1 owner.

Extruder has been upgraded to all metal. Springs and knobs upgrade. Glass plate upgrade. Silent stepper motor circuit upgrade. Capricorn tube upgrade.

5W laser etcher addon. Raspberry pie 3 addon. Raspberry pie camera. Infra-red light camera.

Lots of spare parts and other misc. items.

Thanks in advance.

Speedy Spider HotEnd ??? E3 Pro

recently installed a new hotend (SS) and was curious if I need to change temp. in marlin ??

Thanks for any and all advice !!!!!!

Identifying sensor pins and control pins for the BL TouchTroubleshooting

I’ve installed klipper to my ender 3 pro and am trying to configure the BL Touch probe. Right now i’ve got them as the ones in the config; sensor pin as PB1 and control pin as PB0

However when I home, I get a message saying Failed to verify BLTouch probe is raised; retrying

I’d take a picture of my 4.2.2 board but one of the screws isn’t coming out 🫤

Failed to verify BLTouch probe is raised

I’m in the process of installing a BLtouch clone (3DTouch) on my Ender 3, but am struggling.

Initially I didn’t get any power through, so I switched to a new wire. Now it’s actually raising and lowering. But, it can no register if the probe is out or in, I’ve tried seemingly everything, changing pins in Printer.cfg, following every guide I find, I’ve used both the Z switch pins and the bltouch pins, but same result.

Did I get a bad unit, or am I doing something wrong?

Duct Recommendations to print PETG?

I had replaced my stock duct on my Ender 3 Pro with this one:

https://www.printables.com/model/248591-satsana-ender-3-fan-duct-for-cr-touch

I'm...underwhelmed. I'm wanting to print PETG on my Ender 3 Pro (I've printed with PETG many times on my E3 V2, so I know what I'm doing). I've upgraded my fans, swapped out for this duct...

No matter what temp I print at, I'm running into heat creep. I'm not pushing the speed. I've tried stock Cura and Prusa PETG settings and... Heat creep. I've slowed down the print speeds from there. Heat creep. I've treid slightly faster speeds. Heat creep. PLA prints OK, but PETG doesn't work. There's a comment in that listing that mentions that the cooling fan is directed kinda high, and I agree.

Assume I have 4010/4020 fans (cause I do), and am looking for a duct to print PETG with, using a CR Touch (ideally, I could use the standard bracket so I don't have to mess with offsets). What would you recommend?

Thanks!

Weird wavy printingTroubleshooting

Hey everyone,

I am a 3D printing noob. I was gifted an Ender 3 Pro, tried my luck with it, got a bit frustrated and didn't touch it for a few months.

Now I wanted to try it again, but something happened that I had never seen before. Hope somebody here might have. (See images attached)

To me, it looks like the amount of filament extruded fluctuates in regular intervals. I am printing PLA, the supply is steady, temperature settings are 210° at the nozzle and 75° for the bed - I had trouble with bed adhesion, which seemed to improve with slightly higher temperatures. As I said, the printer stood around collecting dust for a few months, but I don't see how that could explain it.

If anybody can help, I'd very much appreciate it.

HELP PLEASETroubleshooting

I installed a dual z-axis kit and can no long get my bed level. I’ve tried everything make it level. I’ve leveled the gantry between the two axis and it still hasn’t helped at all. I’ve manually leveled the bed along with my CR-touch probing the bed I’ve even taking the new z-axis off and it still sits low to the front right and high on the front left. I’m out of options.

EDIT: SOLVED! Some new bed springs and some live action bed leveling has solved my problem.
