thank god I beat it pre nerf state. just like when they nerfed radahn around release
20 went from 2.00 to 2.05 and .500 to .487. It's not a big deal
source? id love to know
I saw it on fextralife so take it with a grain of salt
Radahn wasn't "nerfed."
His hit boxes were bugging the fuck out.
As for this "nerf", you don't even know what kind of a buff the blessings received.
We could literally be talking about a couple percentage points, here.
the first half of the game will be much easier, up to 10 scadutree it’ll be much different now
Quoting myself to really drive it home. lol

im on the game right now and just have tested it with my newer character. i’m doing a chunk more of damage and my resistance is up 10 percent each
Yup just tested it myself
So, the things that were two-shotting you will most probably still two-shot you, or at most three-shot you. And instead of taking 100 hits to kill the boss, it takes... 90? Guess promised consort is ez as pie now, glad I beat him before the nerf!
yeah thats how it should be
Imagine seeing patch notes and immediately screaming nerf, you didn't bother to read them or try to think before posting this huh? Though you apparently don't know Radahn was patched, nerfed, and then buffed to the pre-nerf state, just also patched.
Edit: Stupid mode activated for OP.
made the start of the dlc much easier buddy
So the easier part of the DLC is now easier? What was that about later levels having less scaling and the last having a bit more attack and defense?
Seems like they front loaded it a bit more and dropped power off later to balance it out. Though nope, whole DLC has been nerfed, time to scream it forever that it was nerfed.
yeah it’s front loaded for sure. my main char has 20 blessing and it seems pretty small of a buff at that point but the numbers are better
the majority of the dlc has been nerfed id argue yes. most people are reaching final at 15ish? up to 10 has been buffed
Source?
Calibration Update 1.12.2 change list
Attack and damage negation curve scaling of the Shadow Realm Blessings have been revised.
The attack and damage negation has been increased for the first half of the maximum amount of Blessing enhancements, and the second half will now be more gradual.
The attack and damage negation granted by the final level of Blessing enhancements has been slightly increased.
The calibration update can be applied by logging into the multiplayer server.
If the Calibration Ver. listed at the bottom right of the title menu is not "1.12.2", then select LOGIN and apply the latest regulations before enjoying the game.
About graphics settings (PC version only)
We have confirmed a bug where the raytracing settings are automatically enabled if you have previously loaded saved data from previous game versions.
If your framerate is unstable, please check in the 'SYSTEM' > 'Graphics Settings' > 'Raytracing Quality' settings from the title menu or in-game menu to check if it has been unintentionally set to 'ON'. Once set to 'OFF', Ray Tracing will no longer be automatically enabled.
Other balance adjustments as well as bug fixes are also planned for a future patch.
Thank you for your continued support of ELDEN RING.
Only the very top two sentences are missing, otherwise it's the full page of notes.
...since the adjustment was just for blessings, you could just beat it with no blessings if you care.
who is doing that on their first playthrough? no one
You have option to do it or not, first playthrough or not. Just like using/not-using ashes, playing offline/online, or equipping Daedicar's Woe or any other self-imposed barriers.
This is always such a stupid argument. "purposely handicap yourself to make it harder" ok just play the game with 10 vigor. Absolute regarded comment.
The souls games have frequently had these kinds of things added by the developer. Daedicar's Woe serves literally no purpose aside from increasing your damage received. It is literally,
"purposely handicap yourself to make it harder"
...as devised and implemented by developers for players. Similar to the Calamity Ring, etc. Though within the community, RL/SL 1 runs are pretty popular regardless of options like that.
That said, in reply to an OP stating, "DLC nerfed, baby mode activated, thank god I beat it pre nerf state", it's legit to point out that the game can be as hard as you care to make it.
Did I say somewhere devs didn't update their game? No. I said that's a stupid argument. Difficulty adjustments happen but to act like it isn't a nerf is also stupid. Also artificially nerfing yourself is also a stupid thing to do just to "make it harder". Just stop they nerfed it even if it was slightly it was to make it easier.
Damn, didn’t have the time to play it yet. This was what I was worried about, and wanted to play it on release before anything was nerfed. It’s crazy how fromsoft keeps catering to the shitters. Yet the game already has so many built in easy modes, why nerf anything?
true, spirits are literally made for players who can't handle the difficulty
Oh no, whatever will you do?
So true, you didn't really beat the dlc if you did it post patch
Ok. It's anyway not anyone's job to beat it according to your standard. Hardly anyone cares about you anyway.
Glad im like 90% done with 15 scadu. Now im gonna hurry and finish before they actually nerf bosses
