This is an ad?
No…I currently live in Detroit and I engage with each of the organizations listed in the post. Sharing the wealth for anyone looking to raise money for their tech solution.
Are you selling anything?
Nope…not in this post. I’m giving info. I do have a business…but the focus of this post is to spread the word if you are someone looking to bring a business idea to life
"Check out my article "Sell Your Story First," and for subscribing, I am giving away a free Founder Story Notion Template that helps you format the first story you can share with your audience." You can just say it was an ad, obfuscation it makes it seem dishonest
I’m not selling anything…subscription is free.
Just handing out info
Next post won’t seem so salesy…sorry for the confusion
Every city that I have lived in where the tech industry became prevalent, the culture and economy were ruined for the majority of residents...at least until the majority changed because most of the pre-existing residents were forced to move because the cost of living got too high. I moved back to Detroit, hoping it wouldn't happen here. But, alas, it hath followed me home.
So what you are saying is that we need to run you out of town?
I got a pitchfork and torch ready!
Hehehehehe
It’s been interesting here in Detroit because the art community is so large. I believe the entrepreneurs here are connected to that culture, especially with the emphasis on funding minority business owners. Detroit culture too strong to be broken
Tech is growing everywhere. Every city touts its growing tech industry...in reality, it is, but it is growing everywhere, this is no sign that Detroit is becoming a tech hub.
Agreed, except Detroit’s scene is growing and they have a lot of programming to support new founders. I’ve been involved for the past 4 yrs and have witnessed the organic growth within some of the communities mentioned in the article
