I don't really care the distance as long as its no further south than dover.
Any recommendations where I can buy good quality raw shrimp? Looking to get like 20+lbs. (NCC Area)
Info RequestIf I'm not mistaken, almost all shrimp sold as "fresh" is actually thawed out frozen. In fact, it's often better to buy frozen shrimp as it is frozen on the boat as soon as it's caught.
I mainly just meant that I didn't want to roll up to like an ACME and buy 10+ of those 2lbs shrimp bags. They seem to cost more per lb and I'm trying to find like extra jumbos or colossal.
In that case, BJ's or CostCo is your best bet, but you'll need a membership. They easily pay for themselves just in non-perishables. CostCo is usually better quality, BJ's has more variety.
I got me a costco membership. Maybe I'll roll up there and see what they have.
I’ve had both BJs and Costco and I think Costco are better by a lot.
BJs also has the massive benefit of not being at the mall
We seriously need another CostCo in the area, the mall isn't that bad, but with their new gas station, it's a traffic nightmare. People wait in lines 10-15 deep or more for most of the day just to save ~.25 a gallon.
As far as I was aware there was one approved for Middletown I think.
