DAS has THE best executions from what I hear, so it makes a lot of sense for scalping. It carries an enormous price tag. Is there anything else you guys get from DAS that’s unique to this software? Or do users generally use this purely because executions are so good?

I’ll compare to Thinkorswim 1. Time and sales is night and day better on DAS. You can actually read the tape on DAS vs ToS. 2. Hot keys to enter and exit trades. ToS doesn’t have this which doesn’t help with executions 3. Having multiple charts, level 2’s, and time and sales up at the same time allows me to record a second screen to go back and review later on
This last one alone is worth the $150. I can’t emphasize this enough
- Daily stop loss and stop gain. Once i hit my daily loss limit, DAS will lock me out of taking any more trades. Same with stop gain. Once I hit my profit target on the day, I can set it to allow one more trade. If it’s a winner I can keep trading. If it’s a loser, locks me out from taking anymore trades for the day.
I really like number 4. Completely agreed about 1, tape in TOS is garbage.
Number 2 is why I almost went with DAS but actually found the same hot keys in TWS. Downside is the charts in TWS are from the Stone Age, so I run it just for executions with Trading View for charts on another screen. Other than the charting, TWS hotkeys work really really well.
