Those misaligned panels on a $100k vehicle? Wow.
Holy hell, I would be pissed, paying that much for a vehicle and seeing the misaligned panels.
My friends 2018 or 19 Model 3 has similar misalignments but you’d think they’d figure it out by now… guess not.
It took car manufacturers decades to figure it out.
My grandpa was a big detroit guy. When the Japanese imports (honda, toyota) started getting popular, he was amazed that the trunks and hoods all had even gaps around, from the factory. He was probably talking about early 80’s ish.
I always said Tesla is a tech company not a car company. They should have stuck to cutting edge R&D for EV and “AI” augmented driving safety features. Then marketed that tech license to a car OEM.
Could have a “Ford Mach E powered by Tesla” or similar. Kinda like the Cummins Rams or Allison transmissions in Chevys.
It was pure hubris that Tesla could shortcut 100+ years of institutional knowledge of making cars and not have giant issues with the car part of Electric Vehicle.
