Growing up, my mother made such a wide range of foods. Far more than I do.

We’d have tripe, liver, kidneys. A little bit of everything. I swear I cannot tell you the last time I had any of those things. Definitely over 30 years. While I long for more variety in my kitchen because I’m getting bored, I don’t have a butcher near me and don’t have a car so if Aldi doesn’t sell it, I don’t get it. But I digress.

What did your family eat regularly growing up that you almost never have now?
