OK, this may sound petty, but hear me out.
there is a dairy Queen on East main Street between Brice and McNaughten.
A new group of people seem to have taken them over a few years back, maybe just pre or during pandemic.
My problem is this: when I drove through there tonight, they charged me $6.79 a piece for two peanut butter parfaits. that seemed high, so I asked about it, and was kind of ruling just told that that's what their prices are.
when I called back when I got home, so as not hold up the line, a woman told me that they have no control over their pricing and that it is set by the corporate office.
so, I couldn't let this go. Almost $7 a piece for a peanut buster parfait that is, in all honesty, about 2 in shorter than it used to be...
I called Whitehall, and their price was $5.39
Pataskala/East was 4.89.
This location is so bad, that their sign in front is almost always misspelled.
if they're charging this much for a staple, I'd hate to see how much we're being gouged for other items.
but according to them, they don't set their prices.
