sometimes the uploads take a long time, you can swipe the app closed and reopen it sometimes it kicks it back in. I have never been brave enough to try to log out and back in. I am not sure if it would keep track of your upload progress, or will have lost the images. I would try to let it run, I have had it take 45 minutes to finish before.
The main thing to watch for is if you go to do another one, pay attention to the login they send again, you will need to enter that, it will not be the same as the last job.
