8th Avenue, Taguig, Manila, Philippines [OC]
How much more expensive is this part of the city to live in when compared to the rest of Manila?
It's expensive but not the most expensive in terms of condo rent/selling prices. Just recently, the Manila Bay area has already topped BGC-Taguig and Makati, when condos in Banyan Tree Residences were reportedly sold for at least US$20 million.
As with other areas such as Manila Bay, Makati, Ortigas or Bridgetown, rent prices vary greatly from one building to the next. On the lower end, there are apartments here that only rent for around US$530/month, and shockingly, one Youtube content creator from Germany revealed in a video that he rents an apartment in this area for only about half that price; while on the higher end, condos in places like Horizon Homes, rental units cost as much as US$12,300/month or, they sell for around US$5 million a unit, if you wanna buy one.
Other than rents, cost of living expenses within metropolitan Manila is pretty much the same everywhere but of course, it still depends on one's lifestyle. This area has fast food and canteens if you wanna live cheaply.
