indie Christian music recs?

hello hello! so I’m looking for some more Christian music to listen to! One of my favorite bands is an israeli band called “MIQEDEM” and they just have such a great and unique sound, and I really wish that more Christian artists sounded like them or similar. I also really like RIDERS but they have more of a modern sound. So I’m gonna ask for recommendations for two different genres.

First is kind of late 90s/early 2000s inspired, like the music from coming of age movies. I found this song called “not ashamed” by mountains in the sea, and I think that’s the closest thing to that description. I also like “All The Time” by Starflyer 59, and I also like Miss Angie and Coqui.

Then the other genre is more folk-ish. I like Josh Garrels, but I’m looking for more female folk singers! So far, I’ve listened to Sarah Sparks and I like her stuff, but I want songs that kinda sound like “invisible string” by Taylor Swift, “all is found” by Kacey Musgraves, and “Tightrope” by Jon Guerra.

A great discovery of something like 90s early 2000s for me was Out Of The Grey, you can hear Beatles and Prince influences, and something about them reminds me of Manic Street Preachers and Oasis, for secular references

If you like Miqedem I can recommend two bands for you. They are not the same sound but there is a connection. They share the same scene if you will.

Solu Israel. Another great Israeli band. Vadim plays bass in both Solu and Miqedem.

Man Alive. This is Jamie’s from Miqedem old band. They played pop punk and have a couple of cool records

Just listened to “All The Time”. I liked that. First category seems like indie rock with punk pop influences. Early Switchfoot (The Legend of Chin, New Way to Be Human, Learning to Breathe), Dumdums, Telephone Friends. Those last two may or may not count as "Christian music" but their songwriters are Christians & have released Christian music solo.

Folk influenced: Tina Boonstra, Jennifer Kamikazi. Tina Boonstra is more indie rock (some of which might fall into your first category) but she has folk influenced stuff too. John Van Deusen reminds me of Jon Guerra.
