Has anyone used points to cruise? I have about 130k points and looking for any tips or tricks to get the most out of my points. Or any I better served using the points towards flights and a hotel (not cruising).

I booked a hotel through the Chase travel site (including my Marriott Bonvoy number in my user profile on Chase travel) but it's not showing in the Marriott app as an upcoming trip. Does anyone know how to ensure travel booked through the Chase app connects to Marriott?

Have a group of friends looking to go to an all inclusive resort for new years later this year and are planning on using chase points to book some of the trip. I have around 100k points to play with and was looking for recommendations on where I can get the most bang for my buck using them. We are traveling from Atlanta and are looking for an all inclusive resort somewhere in the Caribbean. Open to any and all suggestions on flights, hotel brands, etc that will save us the most money.

I just downgraded my CSP to a freedom card and plan to reapply for a CSP in 4-5 days (It’s been like seven years since my last SUB) question is…my wife currently has her own CSP, can she refer me through her CSP and I can apply through that link so that she gets the referral points, or would this not count as a referral sign up since I will essentially be upgrading my Freddom to CSP?

I visited a restaurant, ordered pasta, and was given a bill of $500 meant for another table. After receiving the correct bill, I later discovered I was still charged $500 on my statement. Attempts to contact the restaurant were ignored. How can I properly dispute this charge?

Hi all! I just wanna double check that my points are safe. It's been 4+ years since I opened my preferred, and I'm looking to get the reserve since I have a lot of trips coming up. What exactly happens to my points? I also have the freedom flex.

I signed up for Chase Freedom Flex 3 months ago and got my 20000 point bonus. I then signed up for Sapphire Preferred the other day for hopes of the 75,000 welcome bonus. In checking the app after purchases there isn’t any indication of you’ve spent “x” dollars of $4000 to receive your welcome bonus. Is it possible that I won’t get both welcome bonuses? I thought Sapphire was a separate entity.

Does CSP’s travel benefits carry over to the authorized user where the primary card holder is not on the reservation but the authorized user is and the authorized user’s card is used to book the reservation?

I got the CSP almost 2 year ago. My annual fee hits on July 1 and I was wondering if I should product change it to the CSR. I travel 2-3 times a year internationally and 1-2 a year domestically. I probably have about $5000 a year in dining spend and $6000 - $8000 a year in travel expenses. Does it make sense to upgrade to the CSR or should I just stay with the CSP?

How can you book multiple rooms in Chase Travel? My friend was able to book two rooms for himself and his wife + my wife and I. However, when I look in the Chase app I can add multiple people but cannot change the number of rooms.

I am thinking of downgrading my CSR to OG CF in Aug when my annual fee is set to renew (but after making use of my travel credit). My concern is that I used my CSR for my trip in Dec for flights & rooms in Europe. Will that trip have any coverage at all under CF (I don’t actually know what the OG product offers as far as travel perks)? I do plan to reapply for CSR before the trip but I suspect that the new card won’t cover the trip either. What would you all do in this situation?

I fly united a lot for personal reasons and am debating adding this card to my CSR card. Club Access + Free Bags + Boarding group 2 would be worth the annual fee.

I've searched online and can't seem to find answers to the following:

1. Can I qualify for the bonus for signing up for it? I have had my CSR for more than 24 months.
   
2. Is there a way to transfer between my Ink Business, CSR and the United card?
   
3. Odds of approval for another infinite card? I think from a credit and income perspective I should be fine.

Apologies for the newbie question (I have the CSP)…I’ve been collecting points for years and im thinking about using some for the first time ever. I believe I did the math correctly and compared everything so let me know if I got it down or am missing anything.

Option 1: Chase Portal, 27K points or $330, 1.22 cpp

Option 2: Hyatt website, transfer 19,5K points from Chase or pay $300, 1.53cpp

(Is the math correct for cpp: cash price / points * 100?)

I feel like option 2 is best just looking at the numbers but do I need to consider the 3x multiplier if I pay cash thru the Portal?

Lastly I’ve read that 1.5cpp thru Hyatt is typical so I’m not sure if holding off for a higher cpp is worth it or not. What rule of thumb do you use when deciding to use points or not?

I recently went into my local chase branch to get the chase sapphire preferred card with the 85,000 point sign up bonus. I got approved and the banker showed me and she said I could use the card starting today if I signed into the app but to sign into the app you need a card or account number but I didn’t get any of that and she said I’d need to wait until my card arrives. Is there anyway to start using the card today? I figured it chase would send me an email with instructions on how to set up the app but I haven’t received anything.

How long does it usually for transferred points to show up in an airline account?

I tried to transfer points from my CSP to my JetBlue account and I thought it’d be instant, but it took almost 48 hours, and each time by the time the points showed up in my account the price of the flight I was looking up had gone up!

That was my first time transferring points to a partner, so is that normal or was that some sort of abnormality?

Just booked a stay at a Hilton hotel using UR points through the Chase portal.

Can I also get Hilton Honors points for the stay and/or the Hilton Honors amenities like mobile checkin and choosing your room?

I’ve scoured the Hilton website and can’t find an answer.

Hi all, I want ask questions about using chase sapphire points to book hotels

I have about 96k in points on sapphire preferred. Trying to book hotel for a trip in July.

Currently Marriott has a promo for transferred points, but most hotels on the marriott app cost abt 200k+ points

When I search they Chase travel — it would use up all of my points, plus pay more for some of the luxurious hotels, but you do get 5x points for booking through there

What would be a better option (better use of points) in this scenario? Thanks
