I'm looking for a lightweight compact sleeping pad. I was mostly down to Sea to Summits ETHERLIGHT XT or Ultralight, but I kept seeing reviews that pads which use the spring System although they are comfortable they sure become effective over time and lots of users have been reporting on that. What's your experience and should I go with one of these 2 pads for my next adventure?

All lightweight sleeping pads have a heavy dose of negative reviews. It's inevitable- the things are inherently fragile to keep the weight down. And people are much more inclined to post about a negative experience than to post about the expected experience.
The insulated Etherlight XT is an excellent comfortable pad. The R value isn't amazing though, so not suitable for the very cold unless supplemented with a CCF pad underneath.
