Yeah looks like some is refusing to update those instructions . Specifically section 3. Project Veritas v. Schmidt ruling in 2022 turned ever state in the 9th circuit into one person consent for in person audio recordings.
Thank you. This is interesting to me since I was wanting to record phone calls for work (for personal use, nothing nefarious) but didn't feel like asking every person for permission each time haha.

Project Vertias was doing this in private buildings opened to the public. While this only covers in person recordings, they way it's worded some lawyers seem to think it would apply to phone calls.
