Looking to find some cheap exterior paint. Could be mis-tints or whatever. Not too worried about colour. Anywhere in Calgary sell paint at a good discount?
This is the way
Thank you!
Completely offside … but at the chemical recycling stations at firehalls they are frequently full containers of used paint.
there are cameras setup and they say no salvaging. That being said i have salvaged from them in the past without issue. imo reusing these products instead of them becoming hazardous waste is more important than following their no salvaging policy.
from the FAQ at this company im guessing they get the paint to mix/recycle http://www.ecocoatpaint.ca/ if its acrylic
I think the company is out of business. Their Google listing is showing out of business when searching the address on the website. their "find a location" link on the website doesn't go anywhere and their facebook hasn't posted since 2021
Restore in Deerfoot Meadows gets all kinds of mistint paints and sells it for 80-90% less than retail.
As well look at Lowes they usually have a section for unwanted paint or mistinted stuff I got a bunch from there for half the price of untainted stuff
If you have an AMA card you can get the paint colour of your choice at 30% discount from Cloverdale Paint.
I believe Cloverdale often sells mistints for cheap.
i got some mistints from Benjamin Moore for cheap. It's a crap shoot re colour and stuff, but it's good paint at least. Just ask the sales person.
Recycled paint http://www.ecocoatpaint.ca/
Re-store!
years ago when liquidation world existed they sold paint that was recycled im guessing this company bought them out and now exists instead. i dont see a list of places to buy it so probably have to contact them to find out where its sold
the catch here is its recycled and mixed to a 'near shade' in large batches..
so if you go buy light blue tomorrow and didn't buy enough and you go back in 2 weeks, they might have a different batch of "light blue" thats slightly different so make sure you buy extra the first time.
I'm not sure of the prices but habitat for humanity re-stores typically carry a large amount of paint.
