I came across the Creality Helper Script on another forum. While it's aimed at the K1 and Ender-3 V3, I gave it a spin on my CR-10SE, and it seems to have worked like a charm.
I am now running Mainsail and have a Logitech webcam connected.

Yea, best thing since sliced bread. Have a look at Guppy Screen. If you like it I can share my screen mount which rotates it into landscape.
