The logic is "There's a Pizza Nova around the corner so people won't come here for pizza." While there is a national add campaign for this specific product. I just couldn't believe my ears.
Why would anyone go Tim Horton’s for anything?
What you don't like coffee that tastes like hot bus seat and microwaved donuts?
As I was reading this I was hoping that after “microwaved” came “farts”
Don't let your dreams be memes.
Aw, man.
don't let your memes be dreams.
The McDonald's Pizza was okay in the 90's from my memory, but given all the cost cutting measures fast food restaurants have made in the past 25 years or so, I don't have high hopes for the Tim's Pizza.
I can’t believe people would go to shit hortons for pizza. Ugh.
make shitty flatbread pizza at home
At a fraction of the cost!
honestly, the guy is probably doing you a favor.
Bring back McPizza!!!!
You know good eating I’m guessing.
With all of the good pizza that can be had around this town, why the F would anyone go to Tim’s for pizza? They can barely make a mediocre cup of coffee anymore, much less pizza.
This is one reason Tim’s has been declining for years now. They want to be too many things and they want to compete with everybody. So instead of doing a few things very well, they do lots of things poorly and I’m sure the pizza will be another great example of that.
Any of them with a drive thru shouldn’t. Or at least it shouldn’t be an option to order at the drive thru.
Unless the item can be slapped together in 10 seconds it you shouldn't be allowed to order in drive through. Drive through is for coffee and other quick drinks, that's it. Pastries sure... even a bagel why not. But a full on lunch? Get your ass out of your car and walk in.
Exactly.
Why?
So I don’t have to wait 10 minutes for your order when I want a coffee.
Yeah - I think the pizzas won’t be around for long for this reason… all the stores are going to clock increases in their drive thru times and. It be happy about it
They prolly send you to the parking lot like they do at mcd’s
If you go to the Tim Hortons subreddit employees talk about how it's an absolute pain to get these made, especially at drive through. And of course they get all the abuse when it takes a long time.
I wish they'd just go back to making passable coffee, donuts, and sandwiches and just stop with the other stuff.
This is a good thing. Given how terrible Tim's food has gotten, I can only surmise their pizza is equally bad.
Rather than introducing new products, I wish they'd focus on fixing their core things - coffee, pastries, bagels.
I've heard it described as stale cardboard. I don't think you're missing much.
if you put 2 and 2 together, you get 4. If you got a school full of teeny boppers out for lunch, and a food item that takes 10 minutes to cook. You get disaster. I don't think the Pizza Nova was the only rhyme or reason
Anyone old enough to remember McDonald’s pizza? Omg that was amazing stuff—- you waited for it though. This time hortants stuff is garbage flat bread garbage. Sorry 😞
Nahh your misremembering with rose coloured glasses. When I tried the tims pizza I was immediately reminded of the mcdonalds pizza. Little sauce and super stringy cheese. They are very similar.
It's fine, but only when needing something fast. This tim hortons that isn't selling it is probably gambling that it won't be around for more than a few months. Not worth it to train thier employees how to make it.
It was so good.
It was good!!!
McDonald's pizza was great! The time it took to make it, is what killed it.
Apparently there is still a location in the States that does it.
Does mcds pizza?!?!?! I hope you’re not teasing.
Don’t get too excited that location is in Florida. So it means going to Florida.
They all did in the 90’s. And honestly, it was great pizza.
A year from now those "pizzas" will be nothing but a bad memory. If you're downtown why the hell would you get pizza from Tim Hortons? There's Pizza Nova right nextdoor, Luganos just down the street, Pizzaiolo on Brant and Lakeshore, Son of a peach on Pine and Elizabeth. These are all walking distance from Tim Hortons, unless you're lazy or disabled.
Pretty surprising agreed but probably the right decision by the manager
It’s not profitable for them do so
It’s not like there aren’t twenty + other locations you can go to
There's like 6 pizza places within 5 min drive that are pretty good to decent.
I respect that.
Oh no we can't buy garbage pizza from a garbage donut shop? That's terrible. Write your MP immediately
The pizza is horrible, slows down drive thru and will be discontinued shortly…. There is bigger things to be annoyed by
Oh no!!!! Call the media!!!! This is outrageous!!!!
Honestly though the pizza is actually the only good thing there is on that sh#t menu. Not saying it’s good, just that it’s better than any of the other crap there.
the one by costco?… bc i’ve gone there multiple times and got pizza
Nope, the last one before downtown.
oh by central
Both of those pizzas are ass, have some respect for yourself
Good.
If Tim Horton’s has a product worth buying 🤷
k that's a weird Tim Horton's I guess, but why do this to yourself? if you're downtown Brant, you got Lugano's, if you're north, you got Mount Royal...
Tim hortons has gone so far downhill. Useless place now.
Weird, the Tim’s I work at in the hospital jsut a block away does. Doesn’t make too much sense.
Isn't it up to the franchise owner to pick and choose what they sell? I just assumed some stores are limited in space for new equipment m
This just in: Karen has poor taste
Really? Karen? It’s over dude.
It’s not
Because you are a man and you say so? No. You don’t get to tell woman what we can and cannot do. Also, stop insulting women. You are being abusive. Don’t like? Scroll past.
hahahaha
Just think it's dumb. Really close to the high school, and there's a national TV ad campaign for it. I just ordered a defrosted cookie and went on with my day. Tried it another day at Mapleview mall, it's microwaved crap, but at least it comes with a decent amount of cheese.
if i want pizza or just a slice, tim hortons is the absolute last place i'd go. Hell i'd rather do pizza pizza
Why anyone would go to Tim's for pizza is beyond me.
