Haven’t I already taught you the state of growing different with regard to all things dear & appealing, the state of becoming separate, the state of becoming otherwise? What else is there to expect? It’s impossible that one could forbid anything born, existent, fabricated, & subject to disintegration from disintegrating.

That's fine and all, but non-attachment is decidedly not indifference to injustice and suffering nor is it an excuse for non-action when we're in a position to help alleviate the suffering of others.
Oh I agree. This is very sad.
I will remember and repeat these words when others lament their is no use in trying. Thank you.
