Just finished my first hexi with extra big bells leaves because I’m extra asf 😂
FinishedFantastic crochet. And extra? You are spectacular
Awe thanks 😊
You are quite welcome. May your hooks never weaken and your yarn always be free of tangles
Love this! You look great!
Holy sh*t those sleeves are amazing. You did a fantastic job 😻
Thank u ☺️
You're adorable! I'd ask you where you bought that cause it's so cute! I can't wait to make my first wearable. I have a huge stash to go through so it def needs to be soon. Lol
Thanks
Wizard sleeves. Love it. Good job.
Hmmm I call them fairy sleeves lol 😂. But wizard sleeves are a good one lol 😂
That just depends on what you want to crochet next - fairy wings or a steepled hat with moons and stars.
Hmm my next project is another top with fairy sleeves again lol 😂
Just don't be a good idea fairy.
First off you did amazing work! Second any chance you or someone knows the name of the shirt style would be? I love this style so much
Uhm I free handed it it’s a hexi just cropped and you add the bell sleeves I seen some pattern on Etsy but I figured it out
Omg i love love love this!
Love love this! Is it possible to see the back? Or you can probably answer my question - does it tie in the back?
It ties in the back lol
Thanks!
Super cute!!
Love the sleeves! 💜💐
How did you get it to wrap? I’ve only ever been able to make a cardigan style hexi!
You give to have use a bigger hook to get a nice drape like a 8-9 mm. And then make straps and attach the corners and you wrap it. And also make sure the hexi has a negative ease meaning when you creat your hexi make sure it’s nice and snug around your arms. I did about 12 rounds
So it would be next to impossible to have both a wrap style with a less feature sleeve. Maybe a cuff could pull it in a bit.
Uhm I made my increases on my sleeve extra because that’s what I wanted but I designed the sleeves flare out at the elbow but I’m writing out this pattern if you’re interested to test it out.
I think I’ve wrapped my head around it now! And thankyou, I’d love to but I’m fighting for time to crochet with a 10wk old and a 22mo old 😂😂
Oh you deep in the trenches of motherhood lol
Up to my armpits haha
Imma send you the pattern and hopefully you will have the time lol
That sounds truly amazing, thankyou 🙏
Oooo! I’d love to test it! The explanation you gave is like another language with a few understandable words sprinkled in. I know about sewing and such, but not enough about garment making to understand eases and what not without instruction 😅
Ohhh lol negative ease mean that it’s on the tighter side when someone says positive ease meaning that there’s alot of space or loose side lol
Yeah. With sewing I know it usually means including a larger area for seaming, just not sure how you’d account for that in a crochet pattern since everything has to be done by stitch count. That’s why I’d love to test the pattern. It’s easier for me to learn by doing (I’m that person that asks a million questions during a class to make sure I understand what’s being said lol)
No I understand I’m still writing it out but when I’m done I’ll send out
Maybe creating the hexi with more positive ease you could get a more loser fit to be able to not get a cuff.
This. I would like to know this too. The wrap is so cute
flaaaaames! ♥️
I would love to know how you made that. I did a hexagon cardigan and mine came out nothing a good as yours my sides were the same size as the arms so in my post I got a ton of funny comments but your looks so much nicer
I have to see it lol and thank you
Ugh FINE I'll start actually learning how to crochet. This looks amazing!
