"That wasn't the way I was supposed to go out with the Brewers," Woodruff said of his season-ending shoulder injury at the end of 2023. "I guess I have a lot of unfinished business in a Brewers uniform." [via Todd Rosiak]
Thank you Timmy. It’s like a hobby, I like the behind the scenes of it all & what transpires to make a team successful. Glad to know I keep you updated.
I appreciate your dedication!!
Tito is my official Brewers beat reporter. Also, resident Brewers beefcake aficionado.
It can be hard to come across this kind of passion in a small market team’s sub. I don’t think you realize how much you make this place tick.
Always on top of all the news and you consistently bring a good attitude, even when we’re all dooming.
I appreciate that🤟🏼 thank my always optimistic momma, she got me hooked as a kid when she’d get free tickets once or twice for cleaning the place. I always wanted more, it was special seeing a crowd roar. The rush behind it, now that I understand it, it’s a nice escape from daily life. If I ever doom, you know it’s fucking bad & valid😂
Man, to hold true to personal virtues in a place as anonymous and toxic as the internet is pretty dope. Internet me and physical me are almost two different people.
I swear I get all my Brewers news from u/ohhitstito.
Same.
And only if I hadn't heard it from u/shadedmoonlight first.
you only hear it from me first if stuff happens before noon or on Thursdays, otherwise it's all u/ohhitstito all the way
🫶🏼
🌟
Very specific. I dig it.
😁
He’s the sub’s GOAT
Oh youuuu, gracias🥹💛
Pretty sure the guy got me a free preferred parking pass a couple years ago, too.
If it wasn’t him, he’s certainly someone who would do it anyways, so I’m just gonna give him the credit.
I did! I remember now reading it hahaha
I’ll be commenting & updating the comments by Brandon Woodruff via zoom with best writers:
He said there were a few "brief" conversations with the Brewers after he was non-tendered, then it came together fast at the end.
"Not expected," was how he described his return. "Super happy to be back." - [via Todd Rosiak]
Brandon Woodruff said he’s just over four months from his shoulder surgery. He said the surgery went better than expected, and started a throwing program last week. He feels completely normal and said it will be a slow and steady progression rehabbing. - [via Sophia Minnaert]
Woodruff said he's going by his doctor's orders when asked about whether he thinks he can pitch at some point in 2024.
He also said part of the deal was he will rehab in Milwaukee for the bulk of the season -- that was important to him. - [via Todd Rosiak]
Woodruff said there was interest from a lot of other teams and that he was close to signing with another team before the Brewers jumped back into the picture at the last minute. - [via Todd Rosiak]
"I thought about this on the plane ride back home from the physical, the way things shook out for me, it made me realize that, I wasn't supposed to go out the way I was supposed to go out...
I've got a lot of unfinished business in a Brewers uniform." - [via Dominic Cotroneo]
The press conference he had after the injury could have even made the manliest man get a wet eye…
Made me appreciate Woody so much more than I already did.
It is difficult to read this and not hear guitars wailing in the background at the end. I want an insane Woody return/redemption tour and I am glad he is feeling well, maybe we end up seeing him in the playoffs or something- that would raise plot armor questions haha
I love you so much Woody 🥺
Preseason celine dion
I love Woody.
Hell yeah!
After I get my Cutchcake jersey, Woody's next.
Positive Brandon woodruff news: brain makes happy chemical
I would run through a wall for this man
❤️❤️❤️woodruff is going to be my next jersey
I just watched his little interview. What a stand up dude. Just a sincerely good energy.
God DAMN he’s going to get a standing ovation from me at every game.
Really hope he can get back to his dominate self. The track record on pitchers coming back with the same stuff from a capsule injury isn't great, but torn UCL's used to be career ending, and now recovery from that is almost routine. Here's hoping Woody is one of the first examples of a new paradigm.
Welcome Back Woo
I like that response. He likes the brewers and is pissed how he left.
There is more business to finish than material on his jersey

Bro, this sub wouldn't exist if not for you. I swear I get all my Brewers news from u/ohhitstito.
