Did anyone watch the video on YT two days ago where someone from Fury camp told that he got knocked down few days ago? Was taken out pretty quick and I don't know why, could be fake news but why would it get taken down if the purpose was to go viral?

This is how I see the Fury Vs Usyk fight going.
I think it's gonna be a fairly scrappy and uneventful fight. Fury is just gonna scoot low and look for counters from range. Usyk will pressure with elite footwork and gradually close the distance a lot easier as rounds go by.
Up close, I expect Usyk to rip the body and honestly, overwhelm Fury in the clinch.
Usyk has an engine on him that kicks into another gear in the championship rounds. He'll make Fury miss in the latter rounds.
I see the fight being either a scrappy points win for Usyk, being hard to score because of the inactivity in the first few rounds but his pressure will be the deciding OR Usyk KOing Fury late.
Fury has been knocked down a lot and I put my money on Usyk being able to dazzle Fury and catching Fury with something.
If Fury comes forward in his Kronk style, he could get knocked down early because imo I think he's chinny. Granted he's faced hard punchers but they've taken a lot out of him.
I think Fury can smoke Usyk, Fury doesn't dip his head or make the same defensive mistakes AJ does and his reach + distance control is levels above. Usyk is amazing at turning over his punches at the end of his range to find his targets but Fury is a better outboxer and a much bigger man. Plus Fury chains jabs and is way more active offensively than AJ

That's definitely debatable. Fury is not a volume puncher, he uses tactics like showboating and holding to take a rest.
There's no doubt that Fury is the smarter fighter and uses his strengths more effectively than Joshua (which is crucial against Usyk), but I'm not seeing the conclusive evidence that at mid to long range Fury is automatically going to have the better of Usyk. I think it is clearly obvious that up close is where Fury is most at an advantage.
Of course it's possible that Fury outboxes Usyk at range, but given Usyk's feet and ability to put punches together I don't think that is the best way of Fury going about the fight.
mate it allllll turned out... Fury nasty chaining jabs and short uppers in the clinch doing major damage until Usyk at mid range started slamming him with left overhands. So much pressure from Usyk and he exploited the low right guard from Fury beyond compare. what a fight
In fairness Fury did have some good success at range that Joshua didn’t have but Usyk adjusted.
What I definitely didn’t expect was how Usyk threw Fury off in the clinch. Seriously impressive.
AJ stands very square and straight up, his defense was mediocre in the two fights against Usyk and yet he still managed to hit him quite a lot. Fury's angling and ringcraft are way better than Aj's, and Fury is nasty in the clinch too with short punches and hooks and the weight bullying. I think actually Usyk's gonna be on his bike at mid range because he's so quick and good at bobbing and weaving. Fury outside and inside is super dangerous

Apparently it went under the radar a bit because of the Fury cut, but apparently Opetaia was injured and about to pull out of the Breidis fight before it got postponed.
I'm a bit worried about Opetaia and his injuries, I have a feeling he overtrains too much and his S&C coach is a bit inexperienced. I would hate to see his career to be burdened by injuries as he such a talent and joy to watch.
I think with the right plan Breidis still has a very good chance at beating Opetia. With him being injury prone and barely squeaking out a descision win last time with a broken jaw , Breidis is still a very live underdog here.

This "weight bully" discourse is only popping up because a bunch of casuals recently learned how much a certain guy rehydrates, as if, if they put out their list of top 5 boxers, we won't see literally everyone on their list rehydrates.
It's not some shocking revelations that some guys rehydrate more than others, It's not leveling the playing field to put arbitrary limits on rehydration.

Exactly. There are clear disadvantages to rehydrating that much. I think a significant part of Haney's suspect chin is a result of the amount he rehydrates, for example.
The only good rehydration clause implementation would be a 0lbs rehydration clause. No one should be allowed to come in heaveir on fight night than the limit of the weight class.
I think the ability to rehydrate and still fight well is a skill in itself and something some guys are naturally better at or have better teams around them to help. Similar to other skills and training that boxers have i.e. some boxers are really fast, others can rehydrate crazy amounts and still fight.

If it is the same training videos I have seen, there is about 3 seconds of action, followed by a cut, so they don't really show how he is moving or recovering beyond quick flurries of activity.

Whilst I'd tend to agree, the important thing to remember is that the time he completely destroyed Wilder he was very subdued in the build up. The problem here is that that was him playing mind games with Wilder and letting Wilder pile all the pressure on himself, here I think he knows the mind games won't help anything.
Yes, Fury was calm for that fight but also he was oozing confidence, telling everyone that he'd knock out Wilder (and no one believed him and laughed at him). Fury wasn't taking the mick. He was serious.

This is a close fight that I slightly lean towards Fury but could easily go either way. I can almost guarantee that one set of fans will feel aggrieved and I actually don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It means it's a great match up.

Does anyone know why these Saudi cards have been shown on Sky, TNT and DAZN in the UK? I can understand both TNT and DAZN broadcasting them as both Queensbury and Matchroom have fighters represented, but there aren't any Boxxer fighters on the cards. Why would TNT and DAZN allow it to be on Sky as well? The only reason I can think of is Turki wants it shown on as many platforms as possible.

Too any of you who are knowledgeable about fitness: Will Fury's 6 months of training be enough to get in shape from his awful Ngannou physique/performance? The man treats himself like shit (ballooning in weight, coke, alcohol, etc ) and has gotten beat up quite a bit over his career. Is 6 months of training and steroids enough to turn back the clock on his body? Realistically, how good of shape do you think he can get in?
Its a tough one to call. I can't really gauge furys stamina. AJ is straight edge and trains constantly, you would think his stamina is much better than Furys and AJ was exhausted by the end of the first fight with usyk. Can fury keep up with the pace given how he's treated his body in the past? It will be interesting to see.
AJ has a lot of muscle which is great for power but requires a lot more stamina. Fury's doesn't have big muscles which doesn't drain him much at the cost of being pillow fisted relative to his size. Fury will need to tire out Usyk if he has any shot of beating him cause it's super unlikely he'll spark him out in 1 shot.

Even just going gradually, six months is more than enough time for just about any able bodied individual to get in fantastic shape. Don’t focus on his weight, his legs and punches look ready and sharp.
I expect Fury to look the best since coming back from his PED ban. For the first time since Klitschko, he’s gonna have to really box.
So in your personal opinion, his bad behaviors won't affect his physical conditioning too much. His Klitschko fight physique was decent but Klitschko didn't make him work all that much.
I think Fury's bad behaviours will have an effect on his conditioning. I don't think you'll ever see him with the speed and movement you saw in the Klitschko fight. He's developed in other ways but you can't treat your body the way he has done and come away completely unaffected.

He’s definitely in the last phase of his prime, his body will never be back to the Klitschko level. However, for what he does have left, he’s gonna be 100% there. Six months with a decent diet and consistent cardio for a guy who has always had good cardio is more than enough time for him.

I freaking love this. Can get stuff done all morning with prelims on in the background, then enjoy bbq and dinner over the main card, and either have an early night or still be able to do stuff if I want later.
Yes, I'm not even that old but god the UK/Saudi cards are so much better in terms of start time. I don't mind when they start at like 11-11:15 but sometimes cards start at like 12:30-1am EST which is just absurd.
and the card starts at 6:00am NZT.
So 2:00pm Eastern standard time.
7:00pm London time.
11:00am Vegas/La time.
According to my betting site which is usually accurate, it says Usyk vs Fury is on at 9:30am New Zealand time, so thats 5:30pm Eastern standard time.
10:30 pm London time.
2:30pm Vegas/LA

The fact that in usyk and loma fights the camera crews don't show the feet of the fighters shows our society has gotten stupid as shit
