Upvote the better of the two. Or read three upvote two, etc. If everyone justs posts and walks away, we won't be able to sustain any meaningful existence here. If we actively read and separate the good from the not-as-good, it will produce a benefit for quality submissions. It's a small price to pay for not being banned and tormented, really.

To prevent the sub from becoming a sea of garbage, though, moderators may remove any post at their own discretion.  The bar may not be set very high - we will let voting take care of assessing quality for the most part - but if your content is not even well presented or original, it may be removed.  

**Unfair and subjective?** Possibly. But it's the only way to create a place where we have a chance to exchange and help promote quality content that is banned virtually everywhere else on Reddit.
